  4. That's genetics for ya!! A complete roll of the dice...
  5. Well all I can say is I hope they keep escaping and breeding as I love a pork roast!!!
  6. Macky I nailed that 1st time!!! Top man.....cheers
  7. I could half understand a parsons/bull x grey but a short legged Russel ????
  8. Iv tried to do it on my hand but the noises I produce sound more like I'm messing my pants rather than a distressed animal, foxes must be thinking f**k going over near that dirty c**t haha!!!
  9. Iv seen jagd's aswell as pitpats work boar!!
  10. It just replaces the salts and sugars that the dog loses when exercising! That's all it does...it will rehydrate a dog quicker than water so is a good thing. Don't think a well exercised dog really needs it myself but alot of lads are using it so it must do something otherwise they'd spend their money on something else.
  11. How is asking for a bloody working dog fishy ? How else are lads starting up in the game meant to get their foot in the door, Iv asked complete strangers for a night out on the lamp learning the ropes as at worse they may say no but they may also say yes..it's good to have your wits about you but to start a thread because someone asked you a few questions is a bit petty imo. Why not just tell him to ease of a bit with the questions etc ?
  12. I use shavings on the floor as it makes cleaning easier and a igloo sort of bed from a petshop with a load of old towels that they bury themselves in!!
  13. Thats a sturdy looking kennel mate!! Here's the one I insulated...
  14. I got a bog standard wooden dog cabin, polystyrene for insulation then over the top of that with plastic sheets meant for shower rooms..it's spot on and easy to clean.
  15. Shame you didn't have a group of mates about, could have given them a good hiding!! What a day that would have been, ferreting and a tear up. Chuck some fanny in the mix and cant think of a better spent day as a 16 year old. Seriously if your young and out alone and shit like this is happening tool up, at least a mallet ( for whacking in pegs etc lol )!!!
  16. no offence intended mate BUT how would you know what type he needs, if you dont even know what the boars are like there or how big the get??? As said any powerful dog can pretty much do the job as has been proved in the US, EU and AUS so no matter the location the job is pretty much the same. In thick/dense wood you'd want a shorter stockier type catch dog teamed up with some hounds like the old school Dorsey/Stout catch dog AB's that Bill Hines had. Then in AUS and Argentina where the land is open and the pigs can run a big distance then a running type catch dog is needed like a dogo
  17. You can pretty much use any powerful dog as a catch dog but it's wether it can do it over and over without getting smashed to bits!! If you can get a good pit which I there are in New Zealand or as allready said a staffy or English then go with that. Or a 3/8 5/8 or 1/2 cross bull grey should do you fine!! What are the boars like in NZ ? Do they get very big ?
  18. There was a nice looking litter in the for sale section entitled bargain pups, the dams a half cross and the sires a bull/whip/grey. If I had the room I'd have had one myself!!
  19. I like the DVD!! Like said I dont see any other lads putting out vids like that, and with all the big mouths with super dogs on here that's quite a surprise.
  20. Haha!!! Strawberry water.......
  21. Good dog!!! Hope that thieving cnut's arm rots off!!
  22. Cheers, I agree it could have been. Also I can't bloody wait for my book!!!
