    That bull pup I posted the pic of is mine not the lads who started the thread, him and two other littermates knuckled over and ones vet advised breaking and re-setting the legs ?????? All three of us changed the diet to a lowet protein food and they all went back to normal as said in a week or two...I know of other pups that have done the same and been treated the same and healed up fine.

    Crazy I know!! It's called knuckling over, I was told that it's when the bones/ligaments/tendons etc grow too fast and at different rates resulting in th pups legs bowing. Here's how his went

    Get the pup on real low protein food ASAP to slow the growing process, my bull did it as a pup and after a week or two of cheap low pro kibble he was ok.

    The reason lads will say bull x when asked is the same reason that say a saluki x grey owner or a collie x grey owner will say that saluki or collie x when asked because you know as soon as you say lurcher the next question is "how's it bred"

    I would call it a grey whippet with a touch of bull but that's just my opinion. Either way you look at it it's a lurcher so unless you think it 'bigs up' a dog to call it a bull cross why call it anything else? Why not call it a bull x grey with a touch of whippet ? lol
