    Him and another bloke imported some in the 90's and they were bred the f**k out of with no health tests etc, apparently cancer/shyness and man biting is a problem with these dogs. There's a story that says Bulldozer grabbed a kid by his head and ragged him for a bit!!!!!!! He made alot of money from AB's. But I do know of some good dogs down from Barkers stuff that have excelled in PP work, But have also heard alot of bad stuff too...,but tbh the same could be said about most AB lines in the UK as breeding for money will always f**k shit up.

    I used polystyrene for wall insulation then covered that with shower room plastic sheets that I managed to acquire from the building site I was on..... Without any electrical heating it warm after the dogs have been in it for 15/20 mins but I'm still going to be putting heating in there soon. Need a new draft excluder as the pup keeps demolishing them so if any one had any ideas on a material that a dog can't destroy to be used as a draft excluder/door flap I'd be grateful.

    My pup was a bit reluctant to jump, Iv put chicken wire across the entrance to her pen and raise it a inch or so every week. She's jumping and even climbing fallen down fences/trees etc now. But watch out, a mate of mines pup has taken the jumping to another level and will now jump up into his ferret hutch, shed and over his 6 foot fence lol

    I agree, never have never will tolerate or own a dog that doesn't like people! Put one in the ground a few years back for taking a dislike to other peoples kids, she didn't even get the chance to bite...but why should a 90lb lump of muscle be given a chance.

    Tell him to go pick up a Rescue American Bulldog, plenty in rescues and most will do the job of intimidating just with a bark and most will give it some when needed!!

    Iv put chicken wire on the entrance to the pups kennel run that I raise a bit each week. I used wood at first but she didn't like it... Chicken wires good as they can see the floor. Since Iv been doing this she's been jumping when out and even a spot of climbing.

    they are origioanally fighting dogs their jaw structure is square shaped at the front so when it grips it will not let go the breed to make them is over 13 dogs to get them were they are today,not 1 dogo has been reported to have attacked any one they banned them just because of their instinct to kill its 100% wrong!! if thats their case they should ban rotweilers,dobermen,alsation ect they have all attacked and killed people but they are still around today,i own a doberman hes lovely just very protective gets on great with the dogo when they pass each other but ny dog in rong hands is dangero

    Think alot of folk underestimate AB's due to the amount of shit examples to be seen about and the bully types that IMO should be classed as a different breed...Get one from proper stock and it's prey drive, strength, brains and determination will blow you away. Powerful dogs!!

    Tell that to the blokes in ARG that run them for miles and miles after pigs!! Don't assume that because your mates one is a lump with no stamina ( probably down to the owners ) that they're all in the same boat.
