  2. Darren when you say she is running in to everything do you mean she is actually running into things as if she has lost her sight ?
  3. I think when your lads older he will be gagging to get out there with you Frank
  4. Personally i wouldnt take a kit under 8 weeks old regardless of how much the breeder sayes there ready, they should all be eating independently ,they should be tazzing round the run , sadly it looks as though these ferrets are in a fish tank but thats another thread They should be bright, alert, hand friendly, pretty much bomb proof if the breeders taken the time to do the job properly, personally i wouldnt take a ferret who didnt look right, make sure theres no sniffles, sneezing going on & have nice clean clear eyes. Lastly they should be plump , not skinny & have nothing ot

What do you mean!!!!!! its one of the most important questions to be asking & Mickys sound advice should be followed You wernt in that you tube video were you? the one were it took half a dozon to kill a rabbit badly
  6. No they dont grow back, could have just become loose and fallen out over time
  7. Heres my little lad well he aint little now he is nearly 13
  8. I have 2 hobs wo live happily together, not saying its always the case, just take each day as it comes, would rather have to buy a second cage than bury a dead ferret
  9. I wouldnt re home as the others have said a min of 8 week, they not only feed from there moms but also learn & she will discipline them. Babys taken from there moms to soon tend to need extra care once re homed,so bare that in mind when re homing especially a novice ferret keeper, you may find yourself with hungry kits being brought back to you once you have re homed them. They should be totally independent & full of bounce before homing them
  10. If the jills ok go for it now ,if you look half way up the belly & see a little bump thats a hob,if there is no bump its a jill Or if the kit has two bums she's a jill What a front bottom & a back bottom you mean

    Found ferret

    Thinking the same myself mate
  14. I know this is going slightly of thread but i read yesterday that a woman took her ferret on leads to a park & a dog killed one off them,it apparently shook it to death. I love ferrets but wouldnt walk them in places like parks due to this kind of thing happening, IMO the responsibility should lie with both the owners of the said dog & the ferrets owner, who it appears had a fair few on leads & couldnt pick the last one who got killed up as her hands were full
  15. How soon will they be avai;able for collection ?

Yes i agree go with an experienced ferreter, respect for the quary is an absolute must & a quick kill,i couldnt live with my self if i thought the animal had suffered due to me not doing it properly
  17. Theres a song in that lot somewhere

  19. You would also loose weight feeding that lot 24/7 just make sure she has more food than she can eat , that way you know she is getting enough
  20. I have used paper of all colours without any problems
