Will you scare my mother in law please
Personally that again differs from person to person, in the past i have had them done at around 11 to 12 months old, these two i have not had castrated & there getting on together really well, only down side is they smell a lot stronger even living in clean bedding & they dont look in as good condition coat wise as any i have had castrated
To be honest i dont think it matters, hob, jill.entire doctored, they either work or they dont , the only reason i havent kept jills is simply because i like hobs, colours not an issue either ,so it comes down to personal preferance
As i understand it you have to be a forum member to usethe new room, you dont to use the old one.
I welcome the new room as it will stop people chaning user names & stop the pricks from coming in ,one name one account ,it gets a thumbs up from me
I would also castrate if you only ever intend keeping hobs, but if you vasectomise one of them for future use then i would get the other castrated ,my two are still in the same cage and both entire , guess i have been lucky with no fights so far
People get on my wick branding all working ferret people as uncaring & cruel what makes me even more angry is the amount of do googers who not only eat meat but also take medicines & still think its bloody cruel, they have this pre conceived idea anyone who works a ferret feeds it once a week , copes its teeth & knocks the ferret on a fence post if it lays up.
Its simply a case of ignorance, far more neglect & cruelty goes on in this world regarding animals so they would be better excersizing there objections elsewhere
