Lets put it this way i got more pleasure when i showed ferrets when a veteran or a disabled ferret got a little prize, theres to much of this gotta be perfect bollox in the animal world , i had a fair few disabled ferrets over the yrs , the worst being a jill who had no back passage & sadly she had to be pts due to her deformaties internally she looked perfect other than having no tail

  5. Couldnt agree more, having had 2 very difficult pregnancys & c sections i was shit for a good 6 months after both, but animals seem to bounce back very quickly & i would play it by ear

  7. I work for a company who make level indicators i am going to ask the man who invents the products if he can make summat to use for ferrets, i will ask him later & see what he thinks

I lost a jill who was boarding here to hypocalcaemia, her owner dropped her off with 9 six week old kits. i noticed she had moved out of the bedding area & was just laying around, i got her out of the cage & put her in a run with nothing in it to watch what she did , she just wandered round aimlessley, i took her to the vet & she was given a calcium injection & sadly it wasnt enough, she died later that day despite trying to get some fluid down her etc, i rang the vet who confirmed it was a crap diet, her owner fed dried food & a small amount of rabbit , i felt terrible ab

  18. I had plenty of blanks last season The amount of Rabbits about currently, I will have more Rabbits than I know what to do with (If myxi holds off ) In my case its no good taking more than i can carry as i have to walk, so thats my excuse & i am sticking to it
