    Bedding

i would shove some shredded paper in as well if there scraping all the shavings into the bed area Might well do that Kay, cannot harm them. (they were doing it all summer as well though!) Like there comfort's i think! That dog beddings good white strips of soft paper , if they get to warm they just shove it out & then drag it back if its gets a tad nippy unlike here where i insist on a 13 tog quilt all year long regardless of the conditions, i cant bare to be cold

  8. do they coom in pink :protest: Don't tell me they've given internet access to another home for mentally retarded people. Years ago they used to get 'em to weave baskets to keep 'em out of trouble, these days they just seem to come on here to amuse themselves.. i think Graham was trying to be funny mal Graham i dont give a toss what colour they come in as long as they do the job

  14. we all had letters from work handed out last year about this kind of thing, a company claiming to be window cleaners were calling into specific businesses in the area & handing the receptionists bundles of these cards just prior to them closing up asking if they minded leaving the cards in there reception as they were drumming up trade. As the busineses were ready for shutting up for the day most who were targeted just took the cards off the chaps , somewhere along the lines someone was effected and the police issued all the local busineses with a letter about these cards

    My lad

Very good . the lads got talent... Jasper He has an attitude to match as well Tone . cocky little sod
  18. I know what you're trying to get at but Kay is right. The tick may carry an infection from another animal and the blood it sucks in will mix with this in the stomach. When you squeeze it, the blood it's just sucked up AND the infection it was initially carrying will go back into the bloodstream. I just dont think taking the risk is worth it if a tick picker does the job correctly , not just animals but humans also
  19. To be honest if your wanting to breed to get more working stock i would allow any ferrets you work a couple od seasons of work, then choose the ones you want to breed from this time next year , you can use other methods to bring them out of season next spring, also the hobs usually come into season before the jills thats why you need to keep an eye on them if there getting rough with the jills
  20. as a general rule its spring after birth , sometimes they can come in earlier , the jils have to be swollen before any mating can take place properly, she wont tollerate a males attention untill she is fully swolen , but all jills swell at different rates Are all your ferrets this years
