  1. hi kay, bit of a silly question but frontline spray for cats or dogs ?? tnx niall_b73 The sprays for both species as far as i know, its the spot on that you buy that has dog & cat doses
  2. I have been using frontline spray from the vets since they stopped making Nuvan Top , never had a problem with it in all the years i have kept ferrets
  3. I had a good walk today it was red hot just how i like it & took some pics, i am getting to grips with manual setting , these are jut some random photos of nothing of any importence
  4. No idea , i think its the camera as i have had a lot of very dark pics tried every setting on it , its going in the bin
  5. Just looked up the drontal xl , i paid nearly 20 quid for my dogs from that pets at home place , there less than 13 quid on there , will be using them from now on

Dont hold your breath Big T , my husband was in a serious car crash in The July , they came to see him in November , all that time not knowing if they were going to prossecute him , it was a nightmare
  8. I have never understood the logic of not feeding the animal the night before , i am grumpy & down right vicious if i am deprived my food , so i imagine the ferret also is your ferrets wont give there best on an empty stomach if your cars low on fuel or completly empty it wont work , same for the ferret
  9. He was a lovely bloke , i met fred Dibnah a few yrs ago at a steam thing , he was very normal , i dont know any one who has a bad word to say about him, in fact if teachers were like him maybe the kids would be interested in there school work rather than being shouted at Fred Dibnah was a lengend! I loved that guy he was so enthusiastic and a little bit mental! he used to blow those chimneys up and run out of the way and a few times were very close, always smoking in his younger days aswel whatever he was doing 100ft up a chimney or running from one he'd just blown up always smoking! He

What i witnessed was really vicious but if my interview had been recorded it would have made it so much easier than trying to read sommeone elses writing a year later & being expected to remember what he was wearing, i remembered the actual assult in detail because i simply couldnt believe what i was seeing but as for his clothing , forget it

To be perfectly honest the longer its left the more likely the kid is going to forget what couldbe important details, description etc I witnessed a pretty violent assult outside my house once & had to give a statement , when it went to court it was a year later, i was given my statement that was written in drs writing so i couldnt understand a word of it half hour before the bloke was due in front of the judge , & i had absolutly no contac with anyone after i gave the origonal statement & it going to court, i couldnt remember if the bloke was wearing a black or blue coat ffs
  15. Third one down is clever The third one down was spotted while i tried in vain to catch the smallest cutest toad ever , i was moving the grass to see if i couldnt get the toad to just sit inmy hand while i took a pic of it & i noticed the dew on that cob web thing
  16. actually you might be right!! thanks a lot!! The classic signs of heat stroke are a very '' flat'' ferret , laying about & panting like a dog does , dont assume if the cage is in the shade that they cant be over come by heat stroke , they go down fairly rapidly but its essential that if you do find your ferrets showing the signs you act quickly , they need cooling down A plant sprayer is good to start to cool them down , they do pick up fairly quickly after being cooled down & offered water
  17. lovely :) A polariser or Grey grad filter will help to emphasise the sky in landscapes. It's ok to do it in photoshop, but more subtle if you can get the effect when you actually take the picture Your photography is improving in leaps and bounds! Thanks Kathy , the only thing i have done is use this backlight button in photoscape & sharpened it, the thing i have to watch is if you do much backlight it bleaches out round the edges of things, i find it more so on swan pictures the origonal was quite dark near the waters edge but this litle free package is just about
  18. Think its beginners luck , i have to keep looking at what pic i have taken when its on manual setting & just alter it slightly if its a bit to light , but its all good practice for me using manual , i must admit the ideas slowly sinking in , i am still not sure when its appropriate to use the flash though
  19. This is the same portrait landscape pic without the black on the edges
  20. I have had a go with a different camera today & this is the result , i am quite happy with these as they were on manual setting, lord knows how i did it Took these on macro setting
  21. Ditto , to be honest if you are just very polite & give this neighbour absolutly no cause for complaint then she will get fed up & busy herself in other ways , hard i know but i have been all guns blazing in the past myself & it got me nothing but trouble & a visit from the law
  22. if you had worked him 2 seasons & he was still not getting on with the job then yes i would say find him a new home, give him a chance
  23. It looked about 12 inches high from where i was looking at it , would that be a good guess for the size of it , i will look at some pics of tawny owls then , see what there supposed to look like Thanks very much for the answer
  24. I heard an owl last night & spotted it in the lamp beam , the pics crap but i wondered if anyone could tell me what sort its likely to be , difficult i know given the picture quality Here goes
