There's a nice 22 degree halo all around it now from the light shining through the cirrostratus cloud up in the higher atmosphere Hope to see the eclipse - cheers for the heads up Sean Best get that camera onto a long exposure setting Kay ;-) OTC what settings do i need it on then .. i will use manual

Just another quick one tonight there will no doubt be fireworks going off here so whats the best settinsg to have my camera on to try & capture some of them oh & do i need the flash on or off generally ?

keeps the sun off the main lense kay ...sun shade ..lol thanks for the reply , i was thinking it was summat exciting & was going to make me photos superdooper , no danger of me needing it just yet then , i think the suns retired

Keep the pics comming , i must say i am really enjoying reading & looking at the photos in this new section its brill , keep at it folks i wish there were a hunt near me , but sadly there isnt one , so i will have to enjoy your days out with the hounds Sorry if its already been done but is there a chance that a list of all the hunts in the country can be put on a thread & maybe pinned for the whole season

I had a camera lens hood come with my tamron lens when i brought the camera package, can anyone tell me when it would be used on the lens , what sort of conditions would it be useufull & just generally when its used thanks in advance

Is that possible at 5 1/2 months old ???? Only going on how old my terrier was when she had her first season which was around the 6 months mark , but there all diferent i reccon i suppose it could be a possibility as i have never had a bitch before only dogs labradors so i guess it could be that will have to wait and see generally they are fine its only been the last 2 days as i say this is mt first running dog so my mate will ahve to keep his eye on them until i get round the missus to let me bring her home lol Well i hope you & your mate get them sorted out

I am going to try these , the guillotine ones are rubbish on there nails here & i hate cutting them at the best of times as most of them are black

does it not go all thick & syrupy as its got loads of sugar in it ? Just try it Kay - you will love it! OTC i have never cooked a gammon joint so do you simmer it or get it on a good boil

Well thank you very much it was good fun on the day & hopefully now they have nearly all sold out we will know how much moneys been raised which is what it was for in the first place

Wouldnt have anything to do with the licence being cheaper would it Dunno what my telly is but its crap , you can see other chanels on under the one your watching , like a ghost have you got sky?? or something like that. if so we had this problem and what it was weird to explain this, turn you r telly on not the sky, make sure its on channel 0 or 00 then turn your sky on. what it was is we had a teristial tv channel think it was channel 4 as the main channel when we turned the tv on, so when we switched sky on the terrestial was in the back if you get me. once changing it to 0

i love the springer in the water , its the dogs eyes is it difficult photographing against all the white of the snow ? especially a moving subject

Thats what i am finding with the zoom lens , its just not very good to be honest
