I had a few hours this morning watchng the small herd of hinds & there were some babys from this year amongst them , i managed to get 2 pics of a young male with his tiny antlers just starting to show & a very pretty female , And a few other shots of them , very cold but worth hanging around to get them in the right place to take some half decent pictures

Well if there getting porky drop it a little & if there dropping weight then up the amount , i find it easy to maintain the dogs body weight here as there not worked , but i would imagine a dog worked hard a few times a week needs more food , so i would just monitor the dogs & act accordingly

The hearts i am getting from a slaughterman , but i dont feed them everyday as i found they were a little to rich for the male dog , so i feed them everyother day & just a small amount , but the chicken wings they will eat forever & i find here a bit kinder to the stomach, i have also fed breast of lamb , just chop it up & they seem to love it

Had 2 adult greyhounds on it for about 2 months & the difference is amazing, there coats are nicer , there breath dont stink, they dont fart , they look 100% better & love it, all i use is plain mixer & chicken wings & hearts , bit of pasta & a bit of brown bread I layed off the veg as it gave them the shits

I popped out at half 10 for a quick walk round & managed to get a heron flying off, i did get him sat down as well but the pics are no good , a few red deer the herds around 27 strong again 1 mature stag & 2 young ones, a couple of young hinds & the ever alert head female who barks constantly , so as i value my life i was some distence from them Oh a few birds for good measure, pics arnt particularly good quality but you get the general idea

I got 2 tits but the others are to blurd i always wanted to work on markets when i was younger but thinking about it stuff it , its to cold blurry tits are not good.. market games hard work this time o year 12 hour plus days in the cold ..and i keep loseing me stock book and invoices Mind you its the banter i like , used to spend all day sat round walsall market , it aint the same now though . mind i would livern it up a bit hard havin banter when half your customers dont understand english.. try short changing them

There wasnt a great deal about this afternoon but i did get a few phoros the bird does have a fish in one of them but its a bit hard to see, i claned them up as best i could

Wise words Kay.With Xmas a few days away .How many dogs are going to end up on the shit heap come june I really think its down to lack of experience on the handlers part that seals the pups fate , we all have to start somewhere & we all learn by our mistakes , i simply wouldnt take a pup on here , partly due to lack of patience & lack of experience i had a steep learning curve with madge , lovely little crafty, devious, razor sharp madge that dog takes a mile every time , but its only through me observing her & learning lessons the hard way 99% of the time that ha

I dont like to see what happens to dogs either, sadly its because we live in a '' chuck away society'' I appreciate that sometimes it just isnt going to work for whatever reason , but when you see dogs advertised on here & other places at 6 months old and there excuse is they havent the time to put in to the dog , that means they havent got the skills themselves to school the dog But they should ask themselves why in the space of 6 months have they got 4 dogs all under 12 months old , of all different breeding , when in reality they havent the work for the dogs and the experience
