Probably about 6 foot away from it , the ice is melting up there now so the birds are able to get across to where the fed so it was quite near where i sit They had a treat yesterday the club round the corner chucked all the food in for them after new yrs eve , the seagulls were all over it Nice pics Kay, that coot looks like its been overdoing it over Xmas. I must admit i laughed when i saw it reminded me of a space hopper

Just out of interest did you find they tired quicker than any other type of ferret you have used ?

I saw half dozon of these on the grasss earlier , the photos arnt very good , any ideas what it is , all i can find is fieldfare, mistle thrush that looks a bit like them

i had my daily wander out yesterday & got a few photos, it was bitter cold so i was only put 2 hrs . a few photos of what i saw, one chubby little coot & some swans & a few deer Quite like the light on the water here Its sat on a rock & looked froze Nice little male , any ideas how old he could be ? Like the little female looking back in this one an action shot This was nearly blacked out in the origonal , i just helped it with flood fill

the pigglets are so cute , can you have more than one selection then ?

I love my canon , i have the model down to yours but i do use that lens , got some fairly good results with it , took me a while to get used to using an slr from a point & shoot though
