As far as i understand it its not illegal to kill a dog.. its illegal to allow it to suffer ... so providing its clean & as quick as possible then i assume no crime has been commited i was told this some yrs ago so its possible the laws changed since then but not that i am aware of

When she comes into season get her jabbed . just look for the swollen vulva it should be very evident when the jills come into season

John i think the general feeling amongst owners who want it implanted because of the links to early neutering & Adrenal are going to have or have had the implant & will neuter when it starts to wear off which at the moment it seems to be from 12 months to 18 months average effectiveness I have found some data from 2005 that claims when its used on adrenal ferrets it only masks the symptoms because when the implants effectiveness wore off all the animals started to show clinical signs again But i will keep digging about & see what else i can find in the meantime as i am i

cheers kay have been looking on other forums regarding these implants, i need my hob sorting asap ,i will get as much info as i can from the vet but i think they could be pushing for the implants & we are the guinea pigs, apprently they are making claims that implants reduce the possibilty of adrenal ( having surgery before a certain age is meant to have links with adrenal)from what i understand, but no one can back up the figures , really suprsed me all the negative comments which i have read about the implants will let you know what i decide to do, regards & thanks for the inf
