Just a few pics of the robins i saw today ... loads there was & a dog that slobbered all over me gross it was Woodpecker & a few deer .. lovely walk even though my feet got wet & my hands went numb

I couldnt beleve my luck when i saw it but the ponds still frozen over except for a bit round the edges .. your males a clearer photo than anything i got that day , this was the only one on the pond except for a handfull of ducks & some gulls

God did i have to fiddle with the settings on that one Even the best pics have to be fiddled with a bit..even if its just a bit cropping and sharpening, Well i tried a few things but it looked better a little bit darker

I had a long walk this afternoon to see if i could find a black swan that was seen last week but on the way to the lake where its been seen i went past a riding stables i went to after school & every weekend & school holiday , riding was what i lived for as a 13 yr old I took some photos of the stables which are still used, its a little different but the brick building is the same Just a few pics from the lovely afternoon i had thinking about my life as a child .. very lovely it was too

Just what I was thinking too So do you use an slr, as if so your really making me want to step up a camera grade. Love the Heron pics the most. I have used a dslr to take these pics but i still use my canon point & shoot as well for very close up things

thanks kay , i always seem to miss some really good sunsets but had the camera this time as we had took the kids sledging . Same here the sky was amazing here a couple of days ago & i hadnt got the camera typical
