  1. I found this police appeal very interesting, seemingly they have arrested the parents & then appeal for anyone who may be holding any info to come forward now , while there in custardy Its the bit the copper said about the 6 dead children cant represent themselves so if you have any info to come forward i wondered if some of the children he had fathered but didnt have living with him were being appealed to in some way http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-18253408

  7. i find that dark back ground thing usually only works on something like a dandelion or daisy , if you have picasa which is free to download , try using the shaddow slider it will work to a degree but what i did was use that just enough so it didnt start to darken the very edges of the daisys points its just trial & error & the reason i probably did it was to get rid of a crappy background cheers kay i will down load that now top lass i probably use it more than anything else, its a good little free download & they add new bits to it from time to time, helps me relax

  9. very nice kay wish i could get shots like that with my camera I darkened the background on the daisy , not sure what happened in the second one , it was a bit blured by the looks of it so softened it slightly so it looks dreamy basically blured & i cant remember if i used a point & shoot for the last one i know it was taken in my mothers garden
  10. There lovely , love flowers not that i get any very often , a couple of my flower pics i quickly found
  11. Theres a lot more stuff thats been approved to use on ferrets now, so frontline spray is way down the list of POM'S that a vet will prescribe for a ferret , but given the choice its what I would use, the spray not the drops you buy from the chemist
  12. the other thing to bare in mind with frontline drops or the spray is there not a '' repellent'' so they wont stop fleas waiting for a host to jump on, but providing the animals had frontline administered it will kill any fleas that do jump on the animal
  13. i have never used the frontline otc stuff , but a lot of folks neglect to also get rid of any fleas in the environment & think just doing the dog or whatevers enough , if there indoor dogs the whole house or at least the areas the dogs sleep should be trated as well with a suitable treatment
  14. oh shit I think theres a wasps nest behind my fireplace .. happy days not

  15. No it's because the majority of their owners are f*****g morons that shouldnt be allowed a hamster let alone a bull breed. Check the facts on what dogs bite/attack the most, it's collies/labs/terriers. Just they don't make good news so you don't hear of it, my mate George of hear his nephews testicles were torn open by a Labrador in a unprovoked attack last week. Should we tar them with the same brush ? I was bitten by a collie about 10 years ago , totally unprovoked all i did was walk past it & the thing lunged at me & took a nice bite to the hand , the dog later went on to bit

i have watched everything the man was involved in, to me he made things like engineering interesting , I have a love of steam anyway , so to meet him at a steam rally some years ago was a pleasure. I enjoyed his later work simply because he looked more relaxed on camera , in the early days i always thought he looked uncomfortable, I guess he got used to the limelight , but never felt he craved it
  19. I think they have a second clutch of chicks, some I photographed in the week are half grown & flying about now
