I was speaking with the farmer this morning after i saw the cubs , he said they have very little trouble with the foxes, but did say they have more trouble with magpies when the ewes have juust lambed , so they get them penned now before they start beginning of April

I lost a jill years ago , she reared to 4 weeks old & then I found her out of the nest box , just generally moping about, so i popped her in a small external run, she walked round the edges of the run in a daze , i took her to the vets who diagnosed milk fever, i cant remember what he gave her , but sadly she didnt make it he said its when they give everything to the litter & just have nothing left for themselves edited to add i checked & she was given a calcium injection

No Brian the lambs are on the farm , foxes are next to a paddock with a couple of ponys in it

I have found an earth today , so with a bit of luck I will be able to get some better pics of the cubs , there are 6 , but I couldnt photograph all of them in one pic and a few lambs having there bottles the pics are crappy I just wasnt close enough , but I think I have found a way to get closer , so at first light I will go & have a mooch round there

These were pretty quick , lovely watching them this morning collecting mud for there nests , they were flying right over my head at one point while i sat down waiting Hope you get your sand martin's

He is very dippy , he trips over his own feet , having said that after he had a gallop & wore himself out , he follwed me back through the long grass , walking the new path I had trodden, long grass is hard work I think I was equally as buggered

having witnessed a red hind attack & kill a staffy some years ago I am not totally supprised , there to be avoided when they have calfs with them

had a stroll out this morning with my male greyhound rare pics of him without a lead , i figured he would go awol , he didnt disapoint , I also figured he was to thick to run the trodden down paths & favoured the long grass , again he didnt disapoint , hence one fecked dog far to tired to run off

She is ace off the lead , was really happy with her yesterday when a jack russell came up to her, she just ignored it its pretty amazing how mellow she is now compared to when I got her , she still hates cats & tree rats though

Would you have prefered her to have left the kids in day nursery from 6 weeks old , so she could '' pursue a career'' to then find she very probably would be bringing in more than you , making you feel totally inadequate if you want a show home, go rent a flat & clear off , a home with a family in it should be lived in , you seriously cant have it both ways , a moms place is at home with her kiddies when there at there most needy , theres plenty of time for her to get a job when they need her less Stop whinging & thank your lucky stars You offer some good points....
