I've been waiting for that comment.. If the teams were fully made up of local players, and owned and managed by local people and therefore truly representative of the community in which they lie like they did 100 odd years ago when they were formed, you might have a point. Top tier football is a global concern these days, players, managers and fans come from all over the world to play for, manage and support the top level teams. The global interest in our biggest clubs causes billions of pounds in revenue to pour into the game in this country, TV rights have recently been renegotiate
