so reading this plonkers first post, he shot a bird in a tree with a broken wing, I'll repeat myself, is he a certified vet that can make a decision just by looking from afar, I doubt it, and I doubt that excuse could be used in a court of law, fine if you find a wounded animal by the roadside after being hit by a car, but "in a tree" shit, every hunter out there would be using that excuse to shoot anything that moves
