I'm always loosing bottles of the stuff when out fishing.........but always have a couple of those lypsil type things in the car to keep my lips in tip top order.........makes Excellant alternative.........blue natural one is the best. Bell

Lovely fish there NR, don't think I've heard of the multi mono fly........maybe it's a northern pattern ?........just a quick tip for you however......when taking photos try and put the rod and fly in the pic, rather than that pile of rubbish next to your fish.......trout and salmon magazine will only accept pictures for their 'fish of the month' competition if taken by the river bank with the rod and killing fly in the picture. I'm off up north next week.......maybe somewhere near you......put your order in for next months issue and me and my mate might be in it........I'll put a a couple of

Take all the bits of wood out and stick a front on it and use it as a nest box............alternatively, use it for what it's made for.

Some ponds are day ponds and some night ponds. I had one that was predominantly a night pond but I noticed teal were coming in a morning.......it was odd but I had a couple of good morning flights getting there early before dawn and waiting for them to show up.

As title says.....9 month old bitch just come into season and the whole lot is hanging out like a red golf ball. Had her to vets who tried to put it back in but couldn't. Now want her to have it put back under sedation and maybe a couple of stitches to hold it. Any lads had an experience of this.......looks like my hopes of having a litter out of her are out of the window now......not happy. Bell

Max if you say you was there then thats good enough you aint got to explain nothing !.......Theres a lot of things you say that just dont add up but i dont know you well enough to call you a liar and im certainly not out to embarrass folk ......................Its hardly life or death anyway !............. Are mullet still around to catch in winter mate ?..........always assumed them and bass would clear off to deeper water ?? no we always get mullet all year round, and bass their the two things we get all year...........and sea weed Cheers PK, good to know. Bell

Thought you weren't allowed to play with nets anymore PK....lol no i am....just have to stick to salt water Just make sure you check the local regs mate.......let me know how you get on...........me, I'll stick to my beach caster and fly rod. I've got a little trip sorted in January mate......not sure what might pull my string but if you keep an eye out in 'sea angler weekly' me and my mate will probably have a couple of pics in it.Bell ive been doing it since i put my first net on the beach with grandad at 7 years old have a trip up some time for a tide your not too far from me.. me a

He is a Muslim. Why on earth anybody would want to go and see him now is beyond me. Only here to make a few quid off the back of us...........No doubt given millions away over the years to his 'brotherhood'.........so I for one wouldn't give him houseroom mate.
