    longnet bag %

most of my nets have 110% rabbits bag up a lot better when laying alot of nets out so they tangle better You can also make the rings on the end of the pins big enough that the mesh won't slip off them. I find that helps with the longer nets Cheers
  9. Contact a company called advanced netting Good guys explain what you want and why they will supply the net and draw cord and are much cheaper . 50yd 4z nylon will start you off in the traditional way but you will need pegs ang end pins and most important knowledge. It is not as easy as throwing down a net a waiting for the rabbits to run into it Sam

  17. Darren I have a Falcon FN19 I have just done a refurbe on it The spring that is being talked about is the hammer spring (I on't know the technical terms) you can get at it by releasing the two bolts holding the stock on lift the breech mech, at the back of the breech is a cap which can be unscrewed the threaded tube (again forgive the lack of technical jargon)that this cap is fixed to can be be screwed in or out(this is the power adjuster) when a little allen screw on the side is undone. When taken fully out the hammer spring is inside the tube. I am sorry to be so long winded but

    long net

When using the longnet in the traditional way that is poles and end pins some people do tie the net at intervals to either the top or bottom line this does reduce the bagging collecting at one end.(down to personal preference) However,it is not necessary with the quick set method as the poles stop the bagging from slidig past them Cheers Sam
  21. I have a Beddy whippet and the most important thing is that YOU remember they are babies do not try TOO much TOO soon some can take more than others ;some learn quicker than others, some mature quicker than others, some like mine are juvenile deliquents longer than others In other words there are no hard and fast rules each dog is an individual and you have got to learn about your dog. One fairly common thing about beddy x's they are nearly all headstrong and patience is vital. Cheers Sam
