  10. does anybody know what the watt size of the 150 is??,,,like gaz said if you doubled that,,you would only need an extra set of batterys,,,and i can see for the life of my why changing them in the field is that much of a hastle.....at the moment i use a 14 amp and 10 amp lithuim on a striker,,,and on a big night i have to use both batterys,,this means changing over batterys during the shift
  11. whats that silly hat hes wearing??
  12. oh God,,,,,pardon the pun,,,,,im out of this thread,,,,Q,Francie..
  13. like i said earlier the 150 lamp lasts a long time,,,the batterys in that are obviously doing the job,,,,if the leds in that lamp were increased to make a longer shaft of light,,and a more halogen colour,,,then you might loose battery life,,,,,to combat that,,,extra batterys that could be inserted in to the handle,,,,, but staying away from a big battery on your back, has to be the ultimate goal
  14. well yeh we could,,,,,BUT,,i think the hole purpose of your endeavour is to produce an all in one lamp,,,,,,if you start adding battery packs ,,,you might as well go back to veriouse lightforce lamps,,,

Theres some great footage of youtube showing wallabies all over the UK,crystal clear film leaving no boudt whatsoever they live, survive maybe even thrive in the UK,sadly no such irrefutable evidence of cats, any grainy long distance or shaky footage/pics is always a little ambiguous. any body ever go to whippsnade wildlife park,,,near luton,,,,,i was there quite regular a few years ago,,,,,,where you drive in there is just a barrier like on a car park,,,no cattle grid or anything,,loads of wallaby in there,,,,and i dare say loads round about,,,,i bet theres a few other bits and bobs loc

what dept? Border of 86/87 mate, place called Haute Vienne doing some more flying lessons, very nice place, they even used to have coypu in their big pond, roe deer and wild boar on the farm sometimes invade the grass strip. drove that way a few year ago,,Limoges,,,down to Toulouse
  20. 1 size,,,,same as striker 2 beam,,,as long as possible.. 3 beam colour,,more halogen coloured.. 4 internal battery,,,to last as long as possible,,built in to handle rather than on top.. 5 external material,,rubber if possible,,,but this is not as important as the things above.. 6 dimmer ,,and filters,,,,im not bothered about either,,,,but some lads are.. i have the 150 off you dave,,it just needs a few tweeks in my opinion to make it better ,,,the battery on it lasts a good night,,,so thats good,,,if it had a longer beam with a bit more over spill,,,and a mo
  21. oh,,,and ive always thought the outside should be rubber,,,not that plastick
  22. not sure i know what you mean..... i mean when you screw the head on to tightests beam setting,,,,even at its tightest there is suficiant overspill of beam
  23. not bothered about a dimmer,,, the most impotant thing is the beam,,,,in genral the longer the beam the better,,,like a blitz distance wise and width wise,,,but the unit the size of a striker,,,,and instead of the white beam ,,,more a colour of the blitz , striker ... built in battery lasting as long as possible,,,,without it being like a house brick sat on top
  24. i would use what ever leg up i got for justice..
