Awesome pics JD, that second one does look like the job is done, but like peter says it'd get boring if we got everything we ran, some of the best courses i've had are the ones that just get away. By the way i managed to locate extreme lurcherwork in the end, they are selling on ebay for over £40...

Why is it that it can be so hard to find a decent lamping partner? When i started out i must have had beginners luck, as the guy who became my hunting partner was pretty much on the same wave length as me. Now when people ask to come out, it seems to be a complete nightmare, they either get too tired, or they lag behind or they think they know better than you after 2 trips out on the lamp. I like going it alone as you've nobody to think about other than yourself and your dog, but occasionally i like doing it in company too, but i'm starting to wonder if i'll ever find a decent partner again...

sometimes i think it's just f*****g females of all species, if my bitch gets it in her head that she dont want to do anything i ask, i have to shout at her as if i want to kill her before she slowly but reluctantly comes round to my way of thinking..... :realmad: ...... sometimes i think i should put her in the kennel and have the dogs in the house...... :11: :11: :11:

Mine are now getting there daily exercise late on in the evening due to it getting warmer and it still hits them quicker now the temp is slowly rising. Out lamping the other night he was having trouble cooling down after runs and needed a good few breaks to get his tongue back in.
