    Strange, that. I don't drink at all, now,...& only had a 'binge' on it,..that time,..to help me deal with bereavement. So I'm generally a sober person,..& always have been ? (Occasional social drink, on a rare night out, before Covid, the exception ?) & I honestly don't know anyone personally , on the THL Forum ?,...so tell the person he can see me personally anytime , regarding it ? ,...& the same goes for you ya wee f****n mouthpiece,...when you come back up the rd, call by Inverclyde,...

    & waistcoats, hats, ladies coats, etc. Earlier molecatchers, could make as much off, good skins, at one time, as getting paid for catching them, ive been told.

    Aye mate, can be a problem for farmers, golf courses, gardens , amenity land, etc,....when numerous,...& they often are. Funny, ive just skinned a load of so called good 'winter clears '( for a change, after doing this 27 year ,now) which is moles in winter pelts, & fur is at its thickest, etc. They are in the freezer, but i aint got a clue yet , how to cure / tan them , or whatever ? lol

    "try bending your triggers forward mate so the mole hits it sooner an gets trapped behind front legs",... aye , now we are getting somewhere,...but, you can bend the triggers towards the catching loops, to try and effect that outcome,... just to be clearer ?

    "all seeing mystic" ?? was sure it was fairly common knowledge now, as far as info about adjusting the duffus type ? (other mole men on here have given great tips, plenty of times ,anyhow ffs !) Are you not a MOD yet, anyway ? ha ha & you can f****n talk some as well ? bottom line is ,...im afraid i havent taken to you, matey.     Nothing personal,.. (& i know not deliberate) but, youll find generally, most experienced mole men, WOULDNT want to "repeat" a catch like that, in a half barrel, ffs !!!,...& for any newbies, on here ,.....you DO NOT want to catch your moles like this, in any duffus type.

    Interesting,.. (cheers for the reply),..well, i suppose any non lethal method, that works, in any local situation, could (or should , lol) be applied. Funny enough, just discovered a road casualty, badger, recently. (Scotland) Surprising part was, that its the first in nearly 40 year, in that 'neck of the woods'. Explored, & travelled up & down this way regular, since i was a boy,...& neither me or anyone local, EVER found any signs of badger previous, in the area. Never thought i would see the day,... quite unexpected !

    Brocks, over protected , status,...led too it, all. Im personally not convinced either, how major their role actually is, in this 'bTB' scourge, affecting the countrys cattle. (could well, be wrong on that, though. lol)

    well, stats i read, 67,000 'billys' culled 'legally' ?? (makes you f....n laugh !, at the irony of it !) , 2013 to 2018, in the Gov 'badger control areas', alone.

    there is , (or have been ? lol ) too many, in alot of areas. But , for me, motorised vehicles, etc, travelling the roads,..are probably a bigger factor, in the wee hedgepigs, decline.

    You are wise & talk sense ,.......but , no ones claiming to be the "best" here , mate . Plenty catch more than me, etc,......& have better business sense, etc,.....doesnt bother me in the least,....i still get the satisfaction (probably more with my interest in the old bygone styles) i always got from the game, since around 94. Right mate,.....im off. (promise )
