  1. My first question: why would YOU need to do anything about the dog? It's your bros, isn't it? If he would ask the same, my answer was: I would not sell the dog. It would not solve problems (well, maybe yours it would). I think you should think how did you (both you and the dog) got to here. Normal dogs in normal cases don't kill other dogs. Either the dog or the behaviour you let him was incorrect. There are "wild" and agressive dogs kept in good hands so that they do not make any harm to any dog or human in their whole life. And there are (originally) normal dogs whom in "not th
  2. the KC also dropped the ....jack.....so they are just parson russells. the name was to similar to the cheaper version so it had to be dropped to get the price up Not really. The FCI separated the breed "Parson Jack Russell terrier" into 2 breeds as the height range was way too big and this isn't tolerated by the FCI. The one under 12" (30.5 cm) got the name Jack Russell terrier and the one over 12" got the name Parson Russell terrier. ATB, Anna
  3. Thank you! Very nice "pack"! Different standards for different names, call them however, they are very nice dogs! ATB, Anna

  9. Cracking little terrier! Keep us posted about its development! What is to know about the parents? ATB, Anna
  10. ps.: I of cource don't expext them to know each and every anchestor, they can only know what they were told. I don't give it bigger importancy to it as it neccessairly needed. I just come to say that having/knowing pedigrees and names can go hand by hand with working the terriers. ATB, Anna
  11. I buy dogs from whom I trust. None of my dogs are KC pedigreed. (I don't live in the GB, so those pedigrees really only worth a piece of paper, I can not show my dogs with those papers.) No offence taken, mate! ATB, Anna
  12. Having pedigrees (I don't say of any club, pedigree is pedigree even if it's hand written) and knowing the anchestors doesn't make the man worst or showing one or puppy miller. Some people worth knowing their dogs/lines. I'd be very happy to know more and more about the work and life of my dogs' anchestors. ps.: I'm pretty much concerned you are wrong about Stig. ATB, Anna
  13. Congrats! Well done! ATB, Anna
  14. I think this is the member you ment: http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...sult_type=posts His nick is "Foxterrier". ATB, Anna
  15. never mind the icon, have you seen the threads? Just because a certain breeds gone to shite here, don't mean it's the case all over the world! @ "the_stig" and maltenby: I have PJRTs I work. My older one is working, the younger one (14 months old) not yet. And no, my dogs do not bolt badgers, they bolt foxes. Little changes that makes sense. But I myself also remember a Swedish/Danish/Norge guy showing pics of working smooth Fox terriers. ATB, Anna
  16. Hey, maybe she only had a "quite heat" (you know, when she is not bleeding) and you didn't recognize it? My PJRT bitch had the same. And I had another one that didn't come into season until she was 1.5 year old. But anyway: she yet needs to proove herself in work, so you have 1 more year (at least) until you will want to cover her. Don't you? ATB, Anna
  17. Congrats! Any more details and/or pics? ps.: how many dogs used to attend on such shows? ATB, Anna
  18. Very nice one! Wish you luck for the swap, mate! ATB, Anna
  19. Very nice pics! Thanks for sharing! ATB, Anna

  22. This is the topic I ment, but as I saw in the "Search", there are more in the subject. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...p;hl=dachshunds ATB, Anna
  23. There is a topic about them already if I remember correctly. A guy with the nick Manipulus wrote about working dachshunds. ATB, Anna
