Working Russell's breeders in GB

If it was like you say, there was really no dog. But he is here, sleeping next to me, preparing for the next season to work! KC standard isn't what leads me and my taste. But this bite isn't correct according to any standard. Even those that are to preserve working dogs. Best wishes, Anna -

OK, until now I even defended Don, but seems like dave makes me saying the whole truth. Dave is just a messer and he came to the forum to try to "split" on me. Check out for his other messages. Not many in other topics. But let's see step by step: First of all, no one asked for guarantee. Dave, please quote me where did I ask for guarantee! Being docked wasn't a problem for me as in our country and in the surrounding we are allowed to show our dogs even if docked. In Germany I could make the "breeding test", it has nothing to do with the docked tail. It would be great with an -

Hi Lataza, I think you have no clue of what your are talking. For your kind information, a quote from the actual KC standard: Quoted from: http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/82 If I only would want a show dog, I would not buy one that doesn't actualy fit the show standard. We knew it will be a small sized dog. I think the ethical behavior is not mentioning the name as I also think the bite problem isn't the breeders fault in each and every case. I tryed to hide his name in order not to make him problems or people turning off him. Don't make yourself bother -

Hey, Who said I want a working russell ONLY? I wanted a dog that IN CASE IT WILL WORK WELL IS SUITABLE FOR BREEDING. And this dog is not due to his heavy bite problems. Full stop. Anna -

Ferenc Kulcsar has worked his dogs ONLY in artificial dens. No more to add to that. Valerio, I think you'd better buy a dictionary. I did not write the Jagds are useless. Anna -

Hey Valerio, You are right, but those are not the breeds I like. Neither. And though I saw quite some owners of Teckels saying the Teckel works good, when it came to work they just did not make the grade. FTs I hardly see in normal size, they are maybe suit for wild boar hunts, but not for eath work. Jagds are way too hard (and most of them way too big too). Rednock...well...I'll leave it for you. Send my best wishes, Anna -

dave, if you don't come out with your stupid hysteria on the forum, people will not know whom I got my dog from. Because I behaved ethic - and didn't come out with the name of the breeder. I even took my website off my profile so that people can not discover where the dog is from. You can see what others wrote about a breeder that sells dogs like that - they even asked me about the name. But I did not publish it. Your bad! Being hysteric. But funny how many PMs I've got before the name came out and also after regarding to the quality of his dogs. Only one was saying he has dogs that wort -

Dave, Your message is FULL of lies, I don't even bother myself replying you in longer. Starting from that you were originally planned to go to Jena/Germany - also if my dog was not taken - to the point that you just couldn't explain me how come the same bitch is shown here on the forum with the text "KC bitch" (written by Don Campbell) and the very same picture is sent to me saying that it the dam of my dog. Also then you started with lies, so it's not a new thing to me. I'm sorry for you to try to be on a side of a man who doesn't deserve it - and make yourself dirty. Pity, reall -

This dogie was sold at age of aboout 6 weeks, it was impossible to know that he will have crooked teeths. Anna you can tell a bad mouth at 6 week did you make sure the baby teeth had made way for the 2nd set ..??? i doubt weather this pup from the line was the first with bad teeth .. i know of 3 from a litter well known dog and breeder all with bad mouths at £750 a pup sold to america .. How lucky I am paying only 400 Euros for the pup! I didn't see anything unusual with his teeth, only when the "adult teeth" came out. Anna -

All the listed breeders sell pups to overseas. I don't think it has any importancy who the dog is from. If I would want to "split" on the man, I would start with puting his name when telling about the fault. But that wasn't my aim and not my type. I will not have my dog better or cheaper from such an action. I was a fool and was foolen. Best wishes, Anna -

once you`ve got your foundation dogs why would you buy in ? start your own line .. so much shits gone overseas brought by stupid mug buyers over the years thrs probly nowt worth using an 8 yr old russell dog was sold to america a few yrs back for 10 grand a litter of 5 pups sold to sweden for 10 grand sold by big name terriermen who cashed in .. good show and work stuff could have fecthed silly money but so many of us never jumped on the band wagon I would start with bringing your attention to the absurd thing: if I can't have a good working dog than there is not much chance to have an -

JD, which list do you refer to? Mine or Stig's? Another question: Why do you all cry so much if a pup cost 200-250 quid? In Europe you will not get any pup under 700 Euros!! I would beg you to send me a promising pup from working parents and known anchestry in a reasonable price. ATB, Anna -

I would say it's funny...but it isn't. European "civilians" have no better chance to meet (ex)Terriermen than on specials. I do work my dogs, but have little to no chance to meet (ex) professional Terriermen, much less chance to meet those that only make their work quietly in their own town. I live about 2300 kms from the GB - just for the record. As for shows: I do only show my dogs under Terriermen, no KC shows. (My dogs are also not KC dogs.) It's about once or twice a year travelling 1000 kms (and back) to a show held in Germany. I would be the happiest to have actual pict -

What do you mean I woudl be shocked? That they don't work their dogs anymore? No miracle...most of them are over 65. Or dod you mean to something else? The list contains some names that are/were judging European PJRT shows of the orignal English standard. Who are the 2 you mean to? ATB, Anna -

Hi Nino, My questions would be: what do you consider the best? The one that breeds the most working dogs? The on that breeds few, but quality dogs? Big breeders? Those that besides working they sldo show their dogs with success? I would visit: Eddie and Jane Chapman (Foxwarren), Mick Kemmish, Don Campbell (East Essex), Geoff Burnhill (Paxton), Bob Clough (Pengelli), Greg Mousley (Meynell), Ken Gould and Colin and Julie Bright (Foxcombevale). There are sure more that are worth a nice visit, but are no more on my mind at the moment. I wish you a pleasant ju -

I would appriciate to hear about some of those people and see their dogs! Really! ATB, Anna just seems to be big names mentioned, you wont get told about genuine digging lads who breed for themselves on here i am afraid.they keep quiet bout things.there are some very good russells out there if you look hard enough that are not bred by show men and big names. I see, thank you! Yet I'm not about buying another dog, but I'll keep my eyes open. ATB, Anna -
