  1. he is out of a half greyhound 1 quarter irish terrier 1 quarter bull over a 3 quarter greyhound 1 quarter bull he is only 20mths but he is coming on well
  2. for me a digging fox dog should never see a rabbit al it should see are foxes so the dog knows whats expected of it
  3. that was some night ive had fox hare rabbit and a ferrall cat in one night no deer about here
  4. id hold him back, i had a deerhound cross that was a good single handed dog but wouldnt touch a dead one.

  6. i have seen a lot of irish terrier crosses bark when they chase and its near impossable to stop a dog doing it

  9. Lads, I would be interested to see the photo's of the 28ft dig in Sandbach which needed the JCB as this sounds like my dig. It was a 2 hole place on a small bank, the hounds ran charlie in and we entered a terrier expecting a quick bolt. How rong could I have been, we eventually got a mark and thought OH MY GOD, luckily of of the masters from the hunt has JCB's and was only to willing to assist. Just over 12hrs later the JCB was at full reach and we had to finish the last couple of feet with the shovel, we broke through and there was charlie on a ledge and the bitch was just waiting makin

  11. how many foxes did you get this season, what dogs are you running, any pictures we are doing alright i think we have had 2 blank weeks all year we have a small pack of hounds flushing to lurchers we also have terriers il upload sum pics later

  13. this year we dug 5.2 metre on the bellman.. dog in 3 days stuck in an old land drain working a big fox.. got dog out safe them drains can be funny places we broke into a drain last year and it was about 4ft deep the dog had to swim to reach the fox and as usual charlie had him self on a tight we shelf it amazess me how he fits into some of the places you dig him out of
