  1. I bought this suit for my lad about 18 months ago at a show, but it didn't fit him and I couldn't take it back so its been left in the bag it came in. Its a Little Oscar Jacket and Trousers in camo deertex both size 164 so would suit a kid about 8-12 I guess. its brand new and still has the tags on it cost me about £100 with the cap. I'm looking for £60 and I'll throw the cap in. I'll give it a few days then put it on ebay. You can find the details of the suit here http://www.allweatherclothing.com/
  2. I can't stand the stuff, can't even feed it to the dogs, Years ago I used to hang around with a bloke and every Saturday we used to go this slaughter house for Tripe and Sheep heads, He used to boil it up in a barrel...It absolutely Stank!!
  3. Thats a fair comment but the trick is not to post anything on the internet that is likely to come back and bite you on the butt! I'm amazed by some of the things I read on here, people openly admitting to illegal activity with pictures to back them up! I wonder how many of them would openly admit to robbing a post office!....actually don't answer that!
  4. My .22lr is zeroed for 60 yards and is a dedicated sub sonic tool, it is very rare I would go out to -90 yards with it, shooting well at those distances with one is good going in my book. 100 yards with a HMR is a different matter, that's why I don't use the .22lr at distance generally, this is about the best I have done with the HMR, it was a zeroing session, and I bottled out of the 5th shot! 3 and 4 were only a tiny fraction off being in the same hole! your shite you missed that coin by loads   What you don't realise is it was this coin!!
  5. I use it to keep in touch with my old school friends, University friends, my old Army mates and other friends and family. I have no ego and am certainly not an exhibitionist. I share photos and jokes and arrange get togethers, We even used it recently to help organise the funeral of a Soldier killed in Afghanistan, and through Facebook I was able to meet up with about 20 lads I served with in the army 20 years ago! I have also used it to organise a School get together and met up with old school pals that I hadn't seen for around 30 years!! Facebook is what you make it, but sadly you seem to ha

  7. Yes I couldn't get a decent grouping with them, I found at least 1 out of every 10 is a dud round you can hear the difference in the sound when you pull the trigger and you will get a drop of about 8" from the rest of the group. I've just bought some Winchester SuperX subs but haven't had chance to try them yet, but I'll never use CCI again.
  8. It only takes a few minutes to lock down your Facebook account so that the only people who can access anything are the people on your friends list, and you can even put those friends into different groups now and give each group different access rights etc. So for example you can have a group for all your hunting buddies and a different group for work colleagues, so If you post a status about how many bunnies you bagged and you don't want that cute girl in work to read it, you can quickly set it so that only your hunting buddies can see it.
  9. Agreed! I have them in the garden on an Oak tree.

  14. No probs mate, thanks for letting me know.
  15. Thanks for that, I did notice it was a little on the heavy side but then it has a "Heavy" Barrel so its to be expected I suppose. I did like the Stainless bold and the action was as smooth as silk.
  16. I bought 100 Winchester Super X 40 grain hollow point subs today for £8.75 compared to CCI HP Subs @ £6.49
  17. Hi I have for sale an Air Arms S410 .22 Classic with Walnut Stock, its fitted with an AGS 3 - 9 x 40 Mildot Scope & Airarms Silencer. It comes with am FX 4 stage pump and gun slip. Its just over 2 years old and has fired about 200 shots from new. I'm looking for £495.00 ono. Over 18s only. The gun is in S Wales. I'm only selling because I now have my FAC and have put a deposit on a .17hmr.
  18. In fairness you weren't to know, but your friend who knows more about the sport than you should most certainly know! Anyway that aside, I hope you enjoyed eating the Woodcock and who knows even develop an interest in shooting them (legally that is)
  19. Hi Guys I called into my local RFD today to pick up some Winchester .22's While I was there I noticed a very nice looking Savage R93 BVSS .17hmr, its the Heavy Stainless Steel Barrel model complete with a 6 - 24 x 50 Hawke Scope and an SAK Mod. The barrel has been cut for the Mod and reproofed He's asking £450.00 Its very similar to the one in the pic. Has anybody got one or can anyone tell me anything about them. Basically is it any good and is it worth the asking price? Cheers.
  20. You don't really need to put target shooting down for calibers that you are asking for Vermin Control, because its accepted that you will do some target shooting and Zeroing anyway. However for anything above and beyond what your ground is passed for you would only get it if you were a member of a rifle club and would only be able to use that caliber on the range. so for example if your ground was passed up to .223 you could apply for .223 for fox control but if you wanted a .308 you wouldn't be able to get it for your ground, only the range where you were a member.
  21. Some fantastic groups there! What Scope are you using out to 180yds?
  22. I did a bit of playing around today with the Ruger and think I've found the problem. Its the CCI's!!!! I was shooting at a large white board with a paper target taped on to it. I measured out 75yds and got down with the gun on the Bipod. I was surprised to see that I could actually see the rounds hitting the target through the scope. Anyway What I noticed was that every so often the shot just sounded "dull" and the resultant round fell a good 8 inches low. The pic is an example of what I mean. So time to switch to a better round I think.
