    Hi Chris, don't get too concerned about multi choke guns, If your main focus is rough shooting then you'll find that the standard 1/4 and 1/2 chokes are just the job. You can modify your pattern and spread with careful cartridge choice rather than mess around with chokes. I have a Multi Choke 20 Gauge Hatsan escort and I don't think I've changed from half choke ever since I've had it. Unless your doing a lot of different shooting disciplines, then in my opinion Multi Choke is a bit of a sales gimmick.

    This happened to an elderly friend of mine a few years back. He suddenly found himself surrounded by armed police all screaming to put the gun down and get on the floor, He placed his gun down and tried to explain that due to a medical complaint he couldn't physically get on the floor, he was rushed and knocked to the floor and as a result, suffered a fracture of his collar bone.     I just got the wife to apply for a shotgun and fac makes life so simple she can get ammunition or bring me a gun should I need it and come renewal time I never have to worry if the renewal is delayed cause either her or my tickets cover them and hiding cabinet keys isnt' such a pain as we both have access I hope there's a condition on her ticket prohibiting her from handling any guns for 1 week each month!!

    Mots dog whistles come in differing frequencies such as 210, 210.5 and 211 etc. When starting on a young dog you simply choose a whistle that suits you. As the dog becomes trained, they hear the whistle differently to they way hear it, so the tone of the whistle become less important than the way you blow it.     now this is where im worrid as one conviction did come with a short stay at one of her majestys finest by the magistrates court.. it was 4 months for a common assult however this was overturned after just one week by the crown and i was released by a top judge who was seathing at the magistrates sentence on me as i was obviously acting in self defence the other was drink driving on a moped when i was 16. but thats all never even had a speeding ticket...what do you guys think?? have i blown it? kanny You'll be fine in my opinion. even if the original sentence hadn't been quashed I

    I agree CCI will stop Rabbits dead, but its the hitting them with CCI that I find to be the biggest problem! haha bad shot always blames his tools (no offence meant BTW ) None taken!

    I've got a PH on my .22 and SAK on my .17. The .22 is quieter than my air rifle was.

    I run a plant nursery on a farm which I also shoot over. there are 11 red Kites living on the farm and if I shoot a fox and leave it in a certain spot across a field. I can spend all day whilst working, watching the Kites in that corner of the wood.

    I had a Firearms conviction when I was 16! But still have my SGC and FAC. it was only shooting a gatgun on some wasteland at cans but I was charged with "Discharging an Air weapon in a public place"

    I recently bought a Savage R93 and I like it a lot, I can put rounds almost through the same hole at 120 yds using Winchester .17 Vmax. Great gun!

    Yes sort of, its the home of West Wales Muzzle Loaders and Rifle Association its actually in llandyfan nearest village is ttrap I've been there a few times as a guest, decent bunch of blokes. Yea I think I know the one, I know the village anyway. Is it in a quarry? If I remember correctly. Yes thats the one.

    It doesn't need to be providing the ground has been passed for that caliber and you have permission.

    Depends where in South Wales you are, Theres a Rifle club in Carreg which I've visited a few times and theres Swansea Rifle club, although I'm not sure what range they have.

    That is of course correct, but that doesn't quite present the picture. The FEO will submit his report, and it will be rare those higher up reverse his recommendations, so does he have any power or not, I'd have to suggest he does, that is his job after all, he is the one that sees you and is given the responsibility of interview, etc, so what he says normally goes. Put it like this, if you apply for something, and the pre visit checks would leave the office in a 50/50 situation about granting, then I rather think the FEO turns into a very important man from your point of view.     Not redgistered as a FAC air rifle at the moment by the current owner but i don't know it's histry from new. What if it has been redgisterd as such in the past? Is there any way of checking? hi "IF" it has been registered in the past,then it still is!! once its registered it can not be de-registered,it stays F.A.C till it goes to the scrap heap! but chances are its under 12ft/lb,if the previous owner is telling the truth?     I feed layers pellets only in my feeders but I throw a few handfuls of wild bird seed and mixed corn out in the pen every other day to give them some good foraging. I also give them the chicken carcass from a Sunday roast and most other food scraps. They eat the lot. Remember they are omnivorous and will eat meat as well as veg and seeds.
