  1. A few recent dragonflies flying ones aren't easy as you have to track them and manual focus but great fun and addictive!
  2. This was close up considering where I took it from \/
  3. /\ The 60D is a lot more expensive and if you are going up to that level you may as well go for a secondhand 7D. The 550 and 600 have reasonable and usable ISO settings. The major difference between the 550D and 600D is the swivel screen. My opinion is it is one more thing to go wrong and realistically not something I could ever see using much personally. It could be handy for low down shots and video but that's it. Go for the 550 and save a few quid

There are a few in the club that use point and shoots and get great results one chap won a few weeks ago with a picture of a badger he feeds in his garden. The judge could not fi

  12. If you want to freeze the action like this taken at 1/800 you need a faster shutter speed 1/500+ and a wide Aperture (lower number) to get more light in quickly if in poor light a higher ISO even or if you want to do panning a get action/movement blur like this taken at 1/160 you need a slower shutter speed say like 1/60 to 1/200 depending on subject speed and blur required so a smaller aperture (high number) is require to let in less light.
