  1. i use the same but were the loop is in the middle slide a strong key ring through as the loop
  2. ive got a 24 inch bitch witch i consider a good allround bitch in all terrain on all quarry but have seen certain dogs better on certain quarry on terrain suited to them i.e a 21 inch wippet/irish terrier in paddocks or on close slips on rabbit shes killing 20 plus out of 25 runs but she only kills rabbit and so on the main important thing is to remember an allrounder is exactly that not specialist at one paticular job but good at everything i think purely due to physicall ability 24 ins would be of minimum size to do the job properly just my opinion
  3. ask for lawnmower connections [plugs] from BanQ they the same asthe white cnnectors.is use golf trolley connectors they are made for 17/18 amp batterys with an 18 amp dry cell battery and the best thing ive found to carry in is a good cartridge bag only 25 quid but is very strong aslong as you get one with the shoulder strap that goes right round the bag [i.e underneath]
  4. a way to solve the stalking buiseness is to walk her up till it moves. as for the hedge stuff working with the terreirs helps and linger the light a little might encourage her to follow on abit more good luck mate

  10. ive got a 3/4 grey 1/4 collie bitch witch came off of jim 06 on this site and im very happy with her as a rabbit dog. no dog could do more unless they cook there catch but i was looking for ages cos i didnt want to go to wankcockand give him £175 for a pup that has had the worst start ever i couldt find a litter anywhere. any real success storys of hancock dogs? im sure 1or2 made the grade?
  11. i use a leather lead just split the handle and leave the clip on the end so you can clip it around the lead to make a slip loop to go over ur wrist [bANNED TEXT] lamping
  12. had a first cross dog taking them regular and stags as well the standard varries in every breed good an bad in all also had first crosses would chase them till the battery went flat but no intention of killing them some will some wont. all track greys wont win races
  13. ive had 5/5 hares daylight; + rabbits ferreting; 5 roe on the lamp; a couple of 60+ lamped rabbits with 2 dogs; and a few 20+ hares with 2 dogs 2 fox is the best i managed so far but havnt realy been into them.
  14. because some people dont have the brain to train a dog for a job dont mean the dog has not got the brain for the job. ive got a saluki cross at the minute 13 month old not the best of jumpers but soon as the lights out she is at your side everything she catches is live to hand brilliant on a hedge had a bite on everything and got involved marks hedges [bANNED TEXT] out with terriers an this bitch is 13 month alot of time to improve.and a dream to train
  15. ok ditch shitter but its abit much wat them wankers did a?
  16. so how do i enter.i think ASD stands a good chance with his jack russell on that land
  17. got a 1/3saluki1/3greyhound 1/2 wippet not the best of jumpers but great for retrieving and on the lamp aint done alot day time with her yet as she is only 13 month old.not the typical choice for rabbit but realy has surprised me alot
  18. why not blood test the pups and be done with it. imo i dont think its possible but the only one sure way to find out
  19. i recon the the collie is unnessery in that breed or at least that percentage cos the 3/4 greyhound 1/4 saluki could be just as sensible with time spent on it im also into saluki crosses and im running a bitch identical to the one in your photo real clever little thing let me how it goes mate am genuinly intrested. good luck lee
  20. somthing collie based but with abit of allsorts in they are usually easy to trrain alot of rabbit dogs are real mixed breeds imo
