    Glad I've got 500 Winchester subs in the cabinet ....should last this year on the bunnies. I have about 50 HMR once theyve gone the HMR will be redundant ?

    Where is your allotment? I know the rabbits are nowhere near the numbers of back then. I used to lamp and ferret a lot with Woodga up there . Rabbits arent my no 1 quarry either prefer foxes.

    Plenty roe and hares I know ....we shoot a few foxes. Do you see many foxes? You obviously havent come across the couple of pockets of rabbits I know of?

    You don't see rabbits sitting along the 69 now like you used to. Used to be heaving all the way from Hexham through Melkridge to Haltwhistle , dont see anything now.

    Continuing on I spotted the foxy red coat of a deer in the next field with head down ....up came its head revealing a buck so the stalk was on? I stalked down the hedge , crossed through the hedge and was around 100 yards away. On the bipod I had to wait until he moved a few yards forward to reveal his shoulder and down he went . Into the next field which was topped grass I placed out the caller 70 yds away and lay in the field. 3 minutes into cub call and a dog fox came flying in and sat down 50 yds short of the caller staring at it.     I'm the same nothing beats daylight foxing it's just a shame we dont have many. I suppose we appreciate it more when we do get one.
