  4. The local canada`s are thriving..Took this one today with a 1.4 teleconverter on my 300mm lense.
  5. Thought you might like to see the pair that have been visiting my garden. Nice goldie pics, got the white just about right, plenty of detail in it, not blown out which is easy to do..some of the best on here for a while
  6. Yip nice coloured birds Kay, and they taste nice too. Good sharp pic

  8. Smallish lurcher for me..but not too small
  9. yip, thats if those flaming magpies dont get there first..
  10. Cheers Kay and Snaps..I have a Nikon D300 and the lense I used for these ones was a Nikon 300mm f4.
  11. Some more goldies pics, some male and female, sorry about the flying ones not being sharp, but the weather hasnt been too great to pump up the shutter speed..
  12. A large number of our wild goldies now have light coloured legs, the black leg shit put about by various experts dosnt hold any more..When I was young nearly all goldies had black legs, we called them knoppers, the ones with light legs, bigger brighter coloured birds we called spinx..Yes it is a wild bird, and his hen also has light legs, this is the original picture before I cropped it..and thats a fence and lamp post in the back ground, no flight bars..
  13. Cheers for the comments, yes its a male, the hen was nearby too..
  14. There seem to be a lot of goldies around here at the moment, managed to get this one this morning
  15. If this post is aimed at Mush I wouldnt bother mate, hes a wind up merchant, hes always griped at deerhound crosses for some reasons..last time he used to come on here he did exactly the same, dont get involved with him and he might go away..Everybody on here thats had deerhound crosses, wether they be first cross, three quarter bred or deerhound based lurcher x lurchers know their virtues, and they certainly dont need the likes of Mush telling them otherwise..Watch,I will show you how to ignore him when he replies to this
  16. My mate runs a colliexgreyx salukixgrey, and it is 9 years old, and it still can knock over 20-25 rabbits in a night. It as great stamina, good retriever and quick recovery rate. And it as stayed sound for years. Dont think you get will many lurchers that ( can+want to) do that amount of work at that age. So in my book this is what i would call a(very good x) as a lamping dog. f**k yous english f**k pots Tetty eating guiness drinking tw*t
  17. All the best lampers Ive had or seen (and Im talking about volumes of work on all quarry, not the odd night out) were lurcher x lurcher no first crossers can match them..
  18. Found this one when I was out..sitting tight on six,
