    Hi Kay,great film.that is where I go shooting now. Not a lot has changed,in fact the old steel gate and railings are still there held up with string. Bird came a walk down that track with me and dog year before last. The poacher in the film was a local called John smith from mile oak,used to live with his brother and sister there,until he got married and moved to hints.all dead now I'm afraid.The two boys in the film were from the Gibson family,don't know there names. And the school teacher was a Mrs smith,no relation to the poacher. Thanks again Simon.

    BBC countryfile live show to be held at Blenheim palace early august next year,in partnership with the national trust. Henry Robinson from the cla just wrote to me saying,it will be just like the game fair but without the guns.!!

    Go to the dulux trade centre,ask for advice. The trade paint I've found is way better than you buy in the shops, and way cheaper.

    See if anyone else in your area needs fuel,if you can get 4or 5 people together then buy a tanker full,you'll save yourself hundreds of pounds.

    Been today, OK but not the best I've been to there. The food prices are getting totally out of hand . Pork cob and chips £9.50 . I made do with a pasty.

    When feeding I use a referee whistle,then you can get them to fly out to you to feed.I can call them out 2-3 fields away. If they only see you for food get a friend to walk in,they usually get spooked enough to fly,or just flap a stick with a plastic bag on the end.
