  4. make sure it's not on search and is switched to locate, the mk3's take some getting used to, im still on my first season with mine.

  7. yes, everything goes in, i just slice the stomach open to give them a headstart and they eat everything, poop, stomach contenrs, the lot, all thats usually left is a little bit of hair and a fluffy tail

  14. On my old farm I used to get chased by the buggers all the time, they wouldn't back off until I shot a pretendy pigeon flying past with my shotgun HAHAHA I'm petrified of the buggers and not too keen on horses either, just stay well clear of them now...
  15. all my little buggers leave is the fluffy white tail, a backbone and sometimes a little bit of fur, the eat the lot, guts and everything...

  19. I thought she was having a phantom pregnancy, just been out and there's 4 little squeakers, put some extra bedding in as the cold nights are upon us, never had baby ferrets this late on, so see what happens, more workers for next year

  21. Sadly my best mate and shooting/ferreting and fishing partner Col suffered a stroke on Monday night/early hours of sunday morning. He has lost all feelings and is paralysed in the right hand side of his body. I went to visit him last night in hospital and it appears he is doing well and his spirits are still high despite being poorly. I am keeping him updated on what is going on in the forums and he is still talking about going out ferreting once he gets better. I am sure you will all like to pass on your best wishes to Col and I may even print off a few pages from the forum as a bit of
