    No kills yet with the 90 quid Fenman workhorse but it's only a matter of time I think, hopefully up to the permissions soon.

    think i'd best pop down and see you mal at some point, dont want to risk it, it's only a 90 quid gun but it's the being over the limit thing i'm scared of as i have recently had my shotgun certificate took off me due to health reasons and could do without a firearms charge, so i'll be in touch mate, thanks, i'll PM you.

    well, I have done it, thing is the scope wasn't sitting true, it was off horizontal and vertical if you know what I mean, So, I set up a table and ensured it was level all the way round, hung up a nice steady plumb line and did it that way, just put 10 shots through a hole no bigger than a 5p with accupels and rws superpoint plus's so the bunnies had best watch out haha.

    hi there i took mine to bagnal and kirkwoods in newcastle last year and they checked mine out for nothing.i think the street is called greys street its the one with all the banks on it Champion, I know the shop well, but didn't fancy walking round Newcastle with a gun bag, do you know if bradford & stalkers do them???

    I think it's a good idea but who would be "approved" also it would be good to share knowlwdge of how it's used.

    i feed mine about the same mixture ,my lot must be fussy sods too they wont eat hare either and fox just makes them fuzz up like pom poms and wont go near it Wierd, so why won't ferrets eat hares but devour rabbits???

    I will never tamper with a gun, i've owned quite a few air rifles in the past and never touched them, it's just with all the stuff going on here lately i don't want to be another statistic. i wouldn't know where to start looking for a chronograph or how they work, or even which one to buy, which is why i'd like someone to show me first, then i can experiment with different pellets and craracteristics.

    Recently bought a Theoben Fenman, now I know the last owner had a bit of a tamper with it, he says it is now at "about 10-10.5 ft/lbs" now i'm unsure, does anyone have a chrono so they can test it for me? also does anyone have a bore sighter as the scope is allover the place? I don't want to take them away I could meet up somewhere and you can check for me, also if the gun is over the limit how would I turn it down???

    rabbits, crows, woodpigeons, pheasants, duck, partridges, teal, sparrows, magpies, seagulls, baby starlings, mice, and they love Eels for some reason, also tried them on Hare a few times but they wouldn't entertain it (fussy buggers) Probably loads of other things but I can't remember

    I like to start when we have out first frost but i think it might be a bit earlier this year so we can get Col's new dog on a few half grown rabbits before we get fully into the winter, no new members on my team, but as Col said he has a new pup and he had the pick of the litter from my best jill with his best hob now if she turns out to be anything like her mother or father she will be awesome, can't wait!!!!!
