  10. ferrets are meat eaters at the end of the day, however mine get a varied diet including meat, whole rabbits and there is always a small bowl of biscuits in the cage aswell, they have the choice of what the want to eat, but if you are feeding them dry biscuits ensure they have loads of fresh water as they will go through loads of it...

Best thing is all the new permission is sand aswell where the others we have a like a slate/shale and rock no word of a lie it's hard to walk over these sets without falling in as they are only about 1 foot deep don't mind digging that of needs be, part of the deal was I have to put SKY in his 2 holiday cottages at the bottom of his land but that's a small price to pay...
  13. Thanks Mal for Chronographing my gun, My panic is over and it turns out it's firing at about 10.5ft/lbs or thereabouts, tried numerous pellets and none come anywhere near 12ft/lbs so I can shoot safely in the knowledge the plod would have nowt on me, also thanks for the cuppa and the targets to set up my scope, top bloke, thanks again....
  14. i was taught with a bird comming head on to blank it out with the barrel, a bird going directly away point at its feet, important for all shots to keep the gun on the move with the flight of the bird and follow through, works for me, ok most of the time Exactly the same as what I used to do mate. I had a lot of problems with birds crossing left to right or right to left I used to miss probably 95% of them and my confidence took a massive blow, what i did was join the local clay pigeon clubs and speak to the owner/whoever runs it and tell them your situation and ask if they could
  15. Nice one stealthy, it's all about learning the fieldcraft and practice more than anything else, whether thats plinking or honing your skills while out with the dogs.
  16. well done lads, is that the new HW80 with silencer???
  17. HAHA you might need to save for a few years mate. but if you're anything like me once you shoot a rapid 7 you will never want another gun again...
