Could try a bit of electrical tape over the knot, but it wont look pretty. Another way: Buy a new roll of draw cord Attach to one end Pull the new line through Probably best to do this while the net is set up, as you can get the correct length of cord then.

Either buy cheap and replace more often, or buy more expensive and replace less often, the choice is yours. I personally prefer to buy known brands from a company that are dedicated to batteries rather than ones that just put there name on to rubbish.

You can always pop the keys of with a blade or screwdriver, wipe with a cloth then put back. I would suggest taking a photo of the keyboard to make sure the keys go back in the correct order, dont want you speaking gibberish do we

Try the 2nd knot in this post. Red ring is where u place your thumb to keep the twine wrapped round the mesh gauge tight.

Definitely something there as the eye is being effected. If they have to remove something from inside the head, it could be very costly and still might not fix him completely. As Jayd said, it may be that putting it to sleep would be the least painful option for him. Good luck with him tomorrow.

Knotted cricket bat grips gaffa taped to teachers car exhausts. Homebrew firecrackers in many of the school bins. I have decided I have made enough purse nets for the time being and want to have a go at making a long net. I have been doing research on it, but can't find a straight forward how to guide. I am assuming to start the net, its basically the same as a purse net. How many loops on the ring/loop of string do I need, I believe the net width should be between 12 and 14 meshes, does that mean I need to do 13-15 loops on the ring? Once you have made a few yards, what do you do with the finish part while you carry on knitting, just wrap it round something? Is it ok to run a loop of

This is what really bugs me about the state of the justice system today. Why say x many years when they are only doing half. Life should either mean life or string them up. Get rid of all fancy crap that they get in prison, all the games consoles, all the tvs and dvd players, get it back to what it was like in the program Porridge. They should get gruel or bread and water for food, they don't deserve to get all the fancy food they get. Why the hell are paying for a bloody radio station for them as well. Its about time this country had a protest about the life of luxury these cons get. I

Once, while walking my 3 year old springer spaniel round a private field which I have access to, a couple of very large Alsations came bounding across the field, straight at my dog. I saw them coming a long way off, so managed to get my dog to sit between my legs. Shouldn't knacker it, it will get to a certain point, then trickle charge it or bypass the battery altogether. Battery technology is a lot better today than 5 years ago.

It can take 1-2 hours depending on which knot, which material and if you have big sausage fingers or not. You will need some 1 inch rings, nylon draw cord and a few 8 inch net needles as well. I have 3 net needles but find myself looking for more, so maybe 4-5 would be better, this means you can load them all up and have a good net making session without having to stop to refill. Stealthy1, have you tried spun poly?

Nylon needs double knotting as it slips easily so I have heard. Hemp should be ok with this as it holds knots very tightly.

This is the knot I use on my nets. Thumb goes roughly where the red ring is to hold the string tight while you make the knot. Once you have got the knot correct, pull tight, so that the knot forms under your thumb.

What kind of rat poison were you using? If you can get hold of it, try and get Neosorexa Gold as I know a few pest controllers round here use it.
