  1. I use either bio catolet or yesterdays news as litter for my beasties. At first the hob would climb behind the litter tray, kick it out the way, and then crap in the corner. Now, after I wire tied it, he quite happily blasts away in the tray.
  2. Would have been funny if the old bill stopped you while you were driving in pants. Even better if they made you do a field sobriety test
  3. I would be nagging them for compensation. At least a years worth of hosting would be a start. Quite surprised they only have one backup server, with all the money they rake in, they should be better prepared.
  4. Some of these are free, some are not, but could be Lavasoft for anti spyware. Zonelabs zonealarm for firewall. F-secure or avira for antivirus. Stay well away from norton bulkware. Download firefox to replace internet explorer. Download Noscript addon for firefox (http://noscript.net/)
  5. Have you tried doing it on a different web browser to see if that gives the same results. Just a check, is your old image or new image a pic of 2 dogs on a grass bank, with a spade in the background? Have you tried logging out of the forum, then logging back in? Just changed my avatar 3 times, so there must be an issue with your browser or possibly the image. When you click update avatar, does it go to another screen that says something like "updated avatar choice"
  6. Just checked your whois info for your site, if its hosted by godaddy, they provide daily backups, so you may be able to recover something.
  7. If the image is more than 60KB the forum will complain. Auto resize is on, so if the resolution is to big, it will shrink it to the correct shape. It may just be that you need to hit ctrl+f5 to refresh the forum and download the new images.
  8. No probs, glad I could help.
  9. my controls - board settings- make sure GMT london is selected and auto dst
  10. Just spotted this on ebay, don't know how good it is, but might be of use to someone http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=160320925378
  11. My mate has the 2009 version which I am going to have a play around on. Thanks for the offer though
  12. Spun poly will be a lot cheaper. I get around 14-15 4ft nets out of a roll. Give John Hubery a bell if you want some. 01388 722600
  13. 1TB will not last that long once you start clicking away with your SLR. I am up to 8TB in total, spread over a few drives and still don't have enough space.
  14. Most cameras take photos which are larger than 1 meg, I just checked my sisters camera, which is a 8 megapixel jobby, files are around 3-3.5 meg which works out at over 17gig for 5000 photos, so it may be wise to get 1x16 gig and 1x 8 gig. Both usb pen available from play 16gig stick for £15.49 including delivery and the 8 gig for £8.99 Check the file size to see how big each file is. (right click the icon for the picture - click properties) It should say Location, size and size on disk.
  15. Its installed with any version of Micro$oft office prior to the 2007 version, which uses a different type of dictionary file. Firefox has an addon for spellchecking https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3366
  16. Can still get these from most sweet shops/newsagents. Now its more like getting crabs on a caravan holiday. Things I miss from my childhood, although its not that long ago: Playing football with practically all the kids and their dads, on our local field. Caps. Always used to make a device using 2 large bolts and 3 nuts. In the middle we used to put a dozen caps. They used to make a fantastic noise when they blew apart. French bangers. Although they were weedy and pathetic, we had a lot of fun with them. I prefer home brew ones now Used to enjoy bonfire night
  17. Looks like you can only bring meat in, if it has the EU health mark: Bringing in meat or dairy products It is possible to bring in meat or dairy products for personal consumption, subject to certain restrictions. If you are bringing in these products from the EU or the European Economic Area (EEA), you are allowed to bring in up to 10 kg of meat, milk and meat or milk products for personal consumption. Any of the products that you bring in should have an EU health mark on them. An EU health mark is an oval stamp with: * The initials B, DK, D, EL, E, F, I, L, NL, P or UK
  18. Had squirrel curry before, as a shoot supper mystery dish. Not going to come out with the obvious line and say it tasted a bit nutty
  19. I can master a drill but not a welder at the moment Will drill the holes once I know where the gaps are in the bricks I am bolting to.
  20. I am after 2. If you could work out a price for doing it in either 4mm or 5mm that would be great. Cheers
  21. Get the vet to remove a big section of tubing from the testes, less chance of them rejoining.
  22. There is something about albino ferrets, they either look very evil or very very cute, cute in this case. I have a fantastic polecat hob, but it can't beat my little jill. Great pics kevo
  23. My big hob is about as laid back as you can get. I can hold him up to my face, nose to nose and he just licks it. My jill is pretty much the same, never bites, just scrabbles around when you are holding her. As for the smell, the hob as you all know with yours, hums a bit at this time of year. The jill is no worse than a dogs smell. The people in the city wreck the way country folk live their lives. They have no clue how farmers slave every day just to keep pests from their fields, just so Mr big shot can have his organic carrots for dinner.
  24. East Sussex near Battle, Tenterden and Rye
