Do they make the S200 in .20?
-
I have manly hardwood pegs, but i do keep a few nets in the bottom of the bag which have small meat skewers as pegs (about 4-5") and i use this when the earth is frozen so they slip in but still hold with out me making too much racket. i wouldnt use these anyother time as i think they are too thin to hold in the ground and would just get ripped out.

Well i would rather vote for one mr Square pants than that brown fella'. Most would i rekon

Now im just throwing stuff in here, but, has anyone tried and old shopping basket turned up sided down with a bit cut out and filled down????

Probably an old one, i would whack up some pictures but my driving instructor has a squirrel problem so i go round shot a few and showed him the ropes and now hes accounted for another 4. it has a big old silencer and no chequring on the stock and a slight cheek plate. if that helps at all. Im seeing how long it takes one something pigeonpluker to come and whack up a post, seems to appear everywhere the bsa lighning is uttered.

15 Year Old Shot Himself In The Foot

Its all very well people saying how the kid shouldnt be trusted with a shotgun but by and large the lads i've met have exempulary gun safety as they have been using firearms since almost year dot. Another point is it doesnt matter about age or experience guns are dangerous in the wrong hands, for instance 2 year a go had to hit the deck because a FAO decided a phesant i just flushed was fair game despite it being 4ft off the ground. -
I have just been reading a post with a link that likens LAWFUL shooting to prostitution and the like. And this got me thinking...Why is it that Hunters,Shooter, whether you be running your dogs, or on a big formal day are all discriminated against of the subject of prejudices. This is shown right across the board from school kids to work. Now this is the clencher for me. By and large, these people wouldnt think twice about eating a battery farmed chicken living in bog standard conditions. I would love to know if anyones closer to figuring this out.

Who said natural selection doent exsist. lol bloomin fool. driving with a gun is one thing whilst lamping crawling along but its always in a safe direction or is that just common sence? -
Hmmmm more range? i wouldnt say, just 12 bore generally gives you a larger pattern, my 20 will do everything the 12s do and sometimes more when im hot on it. i use a 20 but thats only because i've had it years and am shooting very well with it, i would move up to a 12 but atm i cant afford one that i would want, maybe a purdy, or similar. 12 have a much larger range of cartridges, and they are a damn sight cheaper. my 20 bore cartridges cost circa £7 a box. 12 bore similar catridge about £5-6.
-
12 bore for all of the above. and you have a wider range in cartridges.

Chemistry is a fantastic sunject, one of my favourites. maybe a close second to history but thats because my teacher is rather good looking. lol. one reason why i picked it.

My school used to do exchange projects untill one day it kicked off with one of the french kids touching my ex, i think the french kid learnt dont start on a bunch of south east london lads lol. Never done an exchange since....i wonder why.....? And wanna be farmer, all im saying is unless you get an A* in maths dont do it a level, because i've got a crappy teacher and im getting straight Us which is very disheartening. Im hoping to get these done and then either go RAF as an officer or what im wanting to do atm go Royal agricultural college and study Rural land management. got

cheers mate. Are you going to do your A-levels next year?
-
English B/B Math B Science A/A* PE A (yes it is a subject and im doing it a level) History A ICT B (god know how) RE B (im good at argueing the toss) DT resistant material A French D (i didnt really go french that often though) i've proberly missed a few out....such a long time ago, and copious amounts of alcohol consumed over the long summer are bad for memory it turns out.

It looks like the 3" with larger shot than 5 is most preferenc but still no comments on them.
-
The reason i ask is because i shot a bunny the other day, a young one at that, well within range i managed to het the pattern square on him, pellets in the ears, chest, face, front leg. so right on the money but he still gave me the old run around. and when i used some old no.4 i never got any problems like that...for obvious reasons. keep in voting and commenting, its all good to know whys and hows.
-
I personally dont rate no.6 shot in my .410 and prefer no.4 and at least no.5, but have heard some aguments that no.6 throws a better pattern, even if this is true, i dont think they have enough kinetic energy to kill humanely upto 30yrds. So, What cartridge loads do you prefer for this fantastic calibre and any veiws would be great to know.
-
Cheers mate. i only use the .410 because otherwise i wouldnt use such a lovely handling lil gun, when i was little i always used 4s or 5s for rabbits and had a few under my belt despite my not so clever aim.

Went out yesterday afternoon, to pay a visit to my trout fishery, and as a time filler i decided to set out a few snare. i set out 6 snares (with instruction from holdaway and a few other members on here) i also took one of the .410s, just incase of a fox in one or a rabbit that i couldnt refuse. So... after the fish ( i caught 2x 4lb trout ) we decided to check the snares, not a great start...first one had a very lively half grown fox cub, which i wasnt going to shoot, so i walked up the snare wire then scruffed it (not advisable) and pulled the snare off, it was completly unharmed...an

Surely if you got a deviation like that on shot no.9 you would know somthing is a miss.
-
I remember this palava. lol. Has anyone tried Bikal stealth, its the silenced, synthetic .410, it looks pretty "functional" which i suppose is what you want from a gun that you are going to go out lamping and not doubt get knicks and dents on the 4x4s roof.

Rabbits do breed like rabbits. I dont think shooting a few young rabbits for sport wont have any affect on the numbers later on in the year, in fact, i would imagine shootin one young rabbit would leave more rabbits, than shooting one rabbit that either pregnant or suckling.
