  1. Never heard of that before. The only soil pollutants that would be harmfull to animals I can think of are those involved in quarrying and industry. Lead mining might produce excess lead in the soil. Potentially harmful. Heavy metals from god knows what else. But IMO I can't see it, probably just hear say and myth. FTB
  2. Don't slip him on large runs. Try and get to a field with some longish grass where the rabbs will squatt better. Walk right on to the and only slip the dog once its seen them. Persevere with this untill you are confident you can start increasing the distance(sometimes within a night or two). I've had this problem a few times as the dogs I use are also used a lot for daytime and tend to go with their nose. Hope this helps. FTB
  3. To be fair though, she is only that hot because of the money spent to keep her that way. Imo, I have seen much more attractive milfs in my time. A good scrub up and most would be shaggable. FTB
  4. I am almost certain her wabs have increased in size since last time. FTB
  5. Do you think she is tv's biggest milf? FTB
  6. No it was a coursing dog from the fens. But it had a turning circle like a canal boat, was far too pacy and was pretty shite in general so I had to spade it. Cheers. FTB.
  7. just read, all the replys.this very same scenario happened to me last year.a very good dog of mine 4 years old and trained PROPERLY.disapeared out of sight on a moor.i know how you feel when you first look at your animal smashing into a sheep (not farting about with it)but smashing it.its you that owns that animal, and i sympathise with your predicament.i didnt even think about sorting him ,it was far to gone for that.BUT after presure from some freinds to give the dog another chance,i buckled and done exactly that.against my better judgment.5 months of back to basics 5 days a week of constant

  9. This place has gone to shit. Milo, you did the right thing and don't need to justify it to anyone but yourself (especially not some of the dense c**ts on here). Next time just backfill it and forget it, don't put it on here. FTB
  10. I have met the one, over dealings with a £1000 item, and a nicer more genuine person you could not meet. I think it is more sad to start a thread with the direct intention of bringing a person down...than to take the time to post 11,000 welcomes to new people and making them feel better. Well done The one. ATB FTB
  11. I would say Road traffic accidents. We all know what goes on, no need to plaster shit over tinternet, some things are better kept to yourself. FTB
  12. Was really looking forward to it myself. It is obviously nothing like the film, but was good in its own way(albeit slightly depressing). Could have done with another few episodes. FTB
  13. Reckon he flung the joypad down in a hissy fit? No...but I bet he deleted her high score. That will teach her a lesson. FTB
  14. talking about cows not bulls. previous posts ive put up in this topic voice my opinion on them...... never said anything about trusting them either. they aint pets. and there not mans best friend either. Ken what you mean, but I dont think I would generalise a breed in that way. Fresian Heifers are mad as too. Get what your saying though FTB
  15. Funniest event Ive had with Cattle is when I used to work with Highlanders (rough coat, big horns). We had a wild bull that started jumping fences and decided to keep going. We found him a couple of hours later, exhausted lying in a ditch. Thinking he wouldn't be any bother, farm manager tied him to the land rover (2 months old) with a halter and a long length of rope. Bull gets up, goes mad again and literally destroys the new land rover The holes in the doors from his horns looked like it had been shot out with a 5o cal. Wasn't funny at the time, but is now. FTB
  16. common breeds that are docile in general; freisian;- black + white, red + white dairy cow, tall + boney belgian blue;- meat breed, often blue but come in many colours, look like they are on steroids charolais;- meat breed, big + cream colour aberdeen angus;- meat breed, black no horns, no white markings hereford;- dark red cow with white face simmentals;- similar to the hereford dexter;- dwarf breed, black, dual purpose less docile breeds, limousin;- ginger-red meat cow, dual purpose jersey;- bulls of this breed are particularly ill-tempered very pretty small dairy breed, long
  17. Thanks alot for all the constructive comments. Really appreciate the advice. Cheers. FTB.
  18. FFS wumin! Man up! The worst they can do is trample you into the ground or throw you 15 ft in the air. It is advisable to keep out of their road if you have a dog with you. Dairy cows are normally safe, as are calves. Its bullocks and heifers you should avoid if at all possible. I used to work on a farm so I've had a few experiences. At the end of the day if you don't feel safe around them you probably aren't. If your walking through them, have an easy escape plan(walk along the fence) but don't allow yourself to be cornered by them. The things we do for a laugh!
  19. Aye. The lad who has found it for me is handy. Was just wondering if there were any common faults I should be aware of. (Ie astra fuel pump ay 120k). The van seems sound enough and I will have him look over it before hand. Be usefull for if people who have owned one would comment. Thanks again. FTB
  20. Lol. Any constructive advice though ? Cheers
  21. If your wanting gaiters. Go for black islanders. Not cheap, bout 50 quid but will last a lifetime. Didn't see that post mate. ATB FTB
  22. After the recent demise of my astra van I'm looking to get a ford transit connect. Something a bit bigger but not too big. I am after information about them, main factor is RELIABILITY. In fact it wants to be bombproof. Been offered a 54 plate with 100k miles for £2k. Which is a fair price. Also first hand experience with any scare stories about them. I just want a cheap run about that will be completely dependable. Cheers. FTB
  23. I would take it as a compliment!

    LOL

  24. I think there horrible wee creatures...much like the french. FTB
  25. There's an earth that I've done for a couple of years now that has an old dead tree that comes from the ground up to the tree canopy that basically overhangs the set about 5ft in the air. Last year there was a fox that sat on the dead tree and almost every time without fail it would be there and would slink off as you approached. It was such a good vantage point, it didn't matter what direction you came from it would always see you(and never go to ground). One day, however, its luck ran out and we managed to run it into a gorse patch that has an old rabbit warren in it. Fox went to groun
