Wouldn't bother with wooly maggots mate. There just like pheasants, always trying to kill themselves. Pigs are the way forward, and more return for your hard efforts (food wise). As for money, you wont make any on such a small scale, you will break even or better, but it will not be profitable. Profit wise, that strip of land looks ideal for a lure coursing event, pleanty of loons out there that would pay you money to let their pot lickers chase a rag about a field . Phone them up and tell them what happened. When your on the phone let them think you know what your talking about. Tell them you felt the air going cold from the blower so you knew immediately their was a problem and when you pulled over it cut out. You never run the van hard etc or out of water. Let them know you know what your talking about and you monitor the water levels cos their ain't no temp gauge and you keep the blower to warm to check it has water. Your not happy this has left you without a van, what are they going to do about it. As soon as you let them think you don't know anything

Also when I went to start it today the yellow light stayed on indicating the engine still thinks there's a fault. Which is maybe why it won't let it start.

It cut out as if electronically. No bangs no smoke and it wasnae even as if steam was pissing from it. Aye it was hot, but I've seen engines a lot hotter. After a while it was almost as if it had cooled down. Hopefully there is no damage and the electric management hs done its fecking job. Otherwise I will be stormin into the nearest vauxhaul dealer and kicking up f**k. This is the second time it has had a leaking cooling system. Aparently there is a hose that rubs against something and wears through after a while. A 'common problem' the mechanic told me last time. Aye that

Aye but its done 120 k miles bud. If I was to get a mate to do the labour part, just parts how much roughly. And I thought the whole point of an engine management system was to stop shit like this happening.

Well, Last night I ran my engine out of coolant (leak in a hose somewhere) and as a result it must have got hot (no temperature gauge in the van ). The engine management light came on and I pulled over, only then did it start flashing to tell me it was hot . Anyway, I went back today to see if it would start, it was turning over but not starting. How fecked id it, how will I fix it and whats it gonna cost me? Its a 57 plate astra van. Cheers FTB
