  1. Running my own business . . check . .. . Babies . . . (i borrow then return) . . check . .. . Weddings . . (i'm just not that stupid!) check . . . I hope you ask before you 'borrow' the babies...?? Yup, looking back the wedding thing was probably the worst decision I've ever made!!
  2. How cool's that??!! Platforms are a really great tool in a good spot. We used to have one in a large wood many years back but it kept getting vandalised and we had to give up on it in the end.... I hope it serves you well, lads. Cheers.
  3. 30? I remember 30, I'd just become a dad for the first time, planning my wedding (BAD idea.. ), running my own business and all was well....... My god, how the past 12 years have changed things!!!! Have a good one, Hannah
  4. That's great!! My two boys have been joining me shooting and they love it, my eldest who's 12 bagged his first bunny last summer and my youngest who's 9 picks up better than any dog I've seen
  5. I'd be interested in that one too. I've just got new neighbours and they're being really arsey about me practicing in the garden
  6. Thanks for you help, fellas, I've got my head round it now. Cheers
  7. Thanks, Tony, it makes sense now. I didn't read Si's posts properly but I see what you guys mean. I'd just looked at CGP's list of BCs and not seen them there, then looked at Dynamic's site and they don't list them either, then trawled through the rest of this bloody inter nerd thing and could not find them anywhere..... Tony, mate, you've got to hit the bottom before you'll climb back up and you will. I know, I've been there Cheers........
  8. Thanks, Tony. I think I must have missed the point there but I'll have another look I've been trawling the net trying to find the info but I'm a total techno feckwit!! I can't get my head around mil dots but it's still a very useful guide. Enjoy your hols, mate Cheers.
  9. Hi, folks. I've been useing CGP for a while and I really rate it but I can't fine tune the feckin' thing 'cos I can't find anywhere the BC for the .20 Dynamic PCP5s that I mainly use. I also use their .177 TM1s and I can't find it for them either... Any help would be greatfully recieved Cheers.
  10. warra bummer mate Mmmm, sweety. Never knew!!
  11. I know what you're saying, Mikey but I just can't be arsed with all that, I just need to point and shoot. I guess if you do a lot of hide shooting, you've got time to do that but most of mine is walking and shooting standing, maybe sitting if I'm lucky. I s'pose I'm maybe a little set in my ways but it works for me Cheers.
  12. Nope. The earth didn't move for me but then it never does...
  13. I was thinking cock 'er too..... What...........with your hair trigger. It goes off with the lightest of touchs... Try thinking of Sonia Jackson Oh cock!!! I'm just going to have to take a look at your profile pic to get that foul image out of my head!!!!
  14. Hi, mate. They're one of those guns that some folks love and others hate... Those that like them will praise their easy handling, the smooth action, they're quiet for a springer and the overall very good build quality that Theoben's have. Those that don't will moan about the sharp recoil that breaks scopes, the rather second rate trigger, they're harder to cock than most other springers and Theoben's after sale service is shite.... If you've got a bargin, then good luck with it but I'd recomend the HW90 to anyone who's after a gas-ram 'cos it knocks the Evo for six on all count
  15. I am a member on there, Davy, I pop in to have a look from time to time but I can't contribute much as I've had to sell my 410c a while ago. Bugger.... If they're OK with me makeing a prat of myself with my HW90 and I'm free for that date, I'd love to go. As always, I won't know 'til very close to the day but finger's crossed I'll be there. Cheers

  17. I couldn't agree more, Jasper I've never understood why some folks need a high mag scope for such close range shooting, I like to see what I'm shooting at clearly but I don't feel the need to count it's hairs or whatever and the other thing is when I'm out and about and a close range shot presents itself, I don't want to have to start dicking about with the scope so as I can see the bloody thing.. I leave all my scopes on around 6x unless I'm ratting when they'll go down very low, or as you've said, up a bit higher if I'm spotting or target shooting. Each to their own, I guess....
  18. Is it open for ex AA owners, Davy?
  19. Good bit of info there, Si, nicely done I've been useing CGP for a while and I'm really pleased with it, the only problem I've got is I can't find the BC for the .20 Dynamics I use. Any ideas 'cos it's not on their web site... Cheers. Edit.... Enjoy your steak!!!
  20. Erm.... Nice shooting. Don't try this at home, boys and girls
  21. Nice one, Stevo, it's always good to score new land Ebay's not a bad place to look for camo, hides and that sort of stuff or if you've an army surplus store near you, they're always worth a look. Cheers.
