i think it also says pest control and shooting crows is pest control so stop nip picking idiot not with a bloody gun
-
this topic should be in the shooting section not on the trapping forum

it was a very warm day yesterday and i had both terriers out for a little hunt along some drystone walls they found a few rabbits and worked well i had to cool them off in a nearby pond several times due to the heat not ideal hunting conditions but we managed a few one in here dad a positive mark another one the scenery was breath taking i found these snipe eggs thats a good find in those rushes another good mark a good day out better than being stuck at home
-
well iv had a few snares out on some grass paddocks a few hoop snares and a few peg snares yesterday we had 30 off these spots i have a few fence snars down and lifted them today here are a few pictures form the set just for you glenn some nice runs even you can see those a few from the fenceline not a bad day at all

the spring is attached to the front arms and the rear of the tunnel. when the arms are pushed forward to seat the trap you release the spring which in turn pulls the arms back against the jaws holding them firmly in place. very quick to set and they can be stacked on top of each other for transportation

listen to this have your sound turned up and have a good laugh

thats what they are

here,s my shed 12x8 and i need more space i spend more time in here than i do in the house
-
a most unusual way to site a tunnel iv seen tunnels like that before but on both sides of the fence with an a joining opening allowing a catch from which ever side the rabbit entered as it had to go over the the trap door, boxes certainly work as we were in scotland on the estate at hill house where they were first ever tested the first time they were set and emptied they had over 500 rabbits in the boxes

the same message was sent to me, just deleted it with out opening better to be safe than sorry

:11: i dont think arron will have fallen asleep on the way back judging by the noise it was making when we were all having a natter you never know chicken might be on the menu today at his house his stall certainly had some quality collars and leads on it and he lives up to the name strong stuff
-
these are handy little tunnels they take me about 10 minutes to make and cost about 6 pence for the cost of the spring these springs however i was sent by rolfe and have put to good use a good safe, secure holder and nice and light
-
the world was put to rights it was nice to meet a few members and put faces to the names there was some top quality judging in the lurcher ring its marvelous what a stroke of the dog tells the judge glad everyone made it home safe and sound

yes mate you are full of bbbbbbbbbbb!!! you do what you like you seem to know every thing at least a few people have brains, iv seen a good few good dogs ruined on golf courses so it think ill pass. your not the only one who has difficult places you know and i run on a good few moors so know what the heather can do to dogs feet its down to the individual lwho decides when to slip his dog and the risks involved in that slip are or at least should be judged by common sense on the part of the dog handler
-
golf courses look like flat land in the lamp and your dog will run hard after its game but the ground undulates with a lot of hidden dips and humps making it dangerous for your dog its very easy for a dog to tumble and break its neck on places like this as for hazards its just common sense and down to the person who,s dog it is to decide when he slips his dog, every lurcher owner should know when a dog is slipped there is the possibility of injury or worse even on the safest of places

i use a dipping paint and some times give them a quick spray of green just to brak up the shape a bit a bit dusty off the saw dust but it keeps the traps protected when you spay them

i had a call from a farmer whoses garden was getting hammered by some rabbits they were coming into his garden from a field next to a moor. these rabbits were eating all the bedding plants and his wife was on the war path he had shot 14 the previous night with the .22 from his bedroom window but he told me on the phone there was still a good few running around . i arrived with my step son tony and both my lurchers flyte my deer x grey bitch and typp my 1st x collie grey dog we were out for just under two hours and picked up 21 rabbits from this 40 acre field the ground holds large a

nice one ian having seen peter shoot you lads did really well considering the handicap will get down on the next dark nights if we can
-
pure rubbish the mans an imposter the snares in the picture on his advert dont look like the ones he,s send ing out to people
-
the actual tunnel is ok but you do need to have excluders in place so you are within the law, narrow the entrance so that onlty target animals will gain entry and thus avoid incedental catches
-
we never saw any young at all on that trip out ferrets are finished now for the season unless i get a request to clear them millet the camera had been lost for a month and still worked when i put new batteries in i gained some new permission when i went for the camera
-
those snares are unique, your tealer should look like this and your finished snare should look like this the snare wire has no string attached to it and fastens directly onto the tealer the base of the tealer is to bulbus and you will have difficulty setting in hard ground and the pegs good luck any way

well i had the terrier out pushing some cover out on the moor i had my two mates shooting i was just watching the dog and generally carrying everything a couple of pictures fro the day a rabbit was pricked and ran off over a small beck and was found under some boulders by the dog a very enjoyable day out lads
