    Hi all I bought a female Harris of a lad called tom shaw from wigan but lost my mobile with his number in if any body knows him he breeds harris's in wigan and I would like to get hold of him as am wanting anouther female harris and he bred some corkers if any body knows who I am looking for could you please pm me cheers.

    I use either a piece of car seat belt cut thiner and to length(works well with bieng flat doesnt tend to snag) or bit of blue rope with the ends singed with a lighter.

    I went every year since I was 15 with a few of the lads we used to go on the first day, it was a real day out.

    I had one cracking little ferreting dog she only mad 17inch tts so was a bit small for what I wanted but in all fairness this was a throw back and the only one of these lines that I have seen this small but she had loads of heart and did take rabbits on the lamp but opened up down to her struggle to make ground on them hence why I gave her to an old lad that only does ferreting hope this helps mate.

    nice one kay cheers my camera has the macro setting on it but I got 4 extra macro lenses that I have never used I always just use the macro on the camera like you said I will give them ago and post the pics soon just to see if there any different.

    Hi all please can any one help me I am looking for a person in wigan that I bought a female harris hawk and then later a male off I had all the details in my phone wich got pinched his name is tom and he was about 50 and he had several harris hawks and I am looking to get back in touch with him I know this is a long shot but if any body thinks they might know who I mean please can you pm me and I will give my mob number to pass on for me many thanks.

    I have had some stuff of tr rob and it hasnt been to bad mate and he was very helpfull on the phone with advice that normaly wouldnt be given freely but I have heard of people having paid over the odds for stuff off him maybe if he see's people are a bit green and lacking experiance he fleeces them wich is not a good way to do buisness but until some one confronts him this will not be an isue get your self and your pal back around there and ask him what the crack is.

    Very true I had indians living next to me who poisened my ferrets/pollcats and threw broken bottles in my dog pen when I asked him why he said in his country we dont like these animals when I replied with well in our country we dont f*****g like you but we tolerate you I was a racist and got warned off the old bill had it have been some one white id of give him a slap but knew they would say it was racialy motivated they want it all there own way ill pass this on if thats ok mate.

    Not likely Phil, they dont tame up well.... ive tried in the past, even bred a female of mine with a wild male and the two younguns I kept out of the cross were not too tame and belive me i put the time in with them... time wasted i must add! Thats no mink mate and I would lean more towards an escape ferret I had some half bred polecats and they were very dark in couler and the hob wich was wild cought was nearly black. The kits I had tamed very well but my mate got 2 off me and his were wild no matter how much he tried mine both died on same day at same time when 7month old think the new
