as waidmann said its all about the trade off and the ammout of food the bird gets after each kill. if you try to get a young bird to make to many kill with little or no reward after each time it can lead to the bird felling robbed and not putting the effort into the chase and as said before is more about the flight than it is about big bags hope this helps
