    shad rack do you carry a stop watch with you when you go coursing i bet you have whipppet greyhounds and just liek to dream about fens sugarplums your more than welcome to come and have a day out with me on the fens this winter and I will educate you on how a good dog runs! And how I know how long my courses generaly are is I film them.     mate did you have any joy finding rosco run . Because i own rosco now and i want to see it to . how come he was sold onto you mate??? i brought him of a freind i sor him kill 5 hares in one day mate . people are running him down on here and never seen him run i am very pleased with him and i own him now and dont care what people say. Good for you mate! Ive only seen him in the one course talked about on here,and would not presume to judge ANY dog on one run , other than that it confirms the dog has plenty of wind.

    A Lot of people seem to think salukis and there crosses are slow and every run, on the fens, is a war of attrition between hare and hound Look at this footage of my dog "Cream" at 17 months age running at Boston before the ban. A very quick dog, straight up to his hare everytime and constant pressure................. he was 3/4 saluki and featherd As a wise old man on here states........................ALL the best to ALL crosses Nothing slow about that dog,no nonsense, putting the hare under pressure and keeping it there till it strikes .

    Around 20 years ago I was on Romney Marsh watching a course between greyhounds.The dogs ran a hare up to a little graveyard at the top of a hill,popularly known as "Boot Hill", the judge who was on foot eventually came back to the rest of us and asked the farmer to take his landrover up to the top ,one of the dogs had died at the summit.
