But that aint COURSING its called LAMPING, thats why the Daytime Hare is the real test of a dog as them numbers are not achievable Daytime thus giving everyone the EVIDENCE that daytime running is the True TEST of a dog behind the Mighty HARE. You said it!

Sounds about right,.....unfortunatly.... Maybe put the jukel away for a while,...hopefully he will forget the failures, and basic instinct will take over... All the best,.CHALKWARREN.... Running a young dog on bunnies sitting a couple of yards from home , is asking to see a dog start to pull up imo. A young dog needs success, carefully stage managed runs on sitters , and silly half grown ones , out far enough to give a dog a chance.I would put the dog away ,keep ,him fit with the bike etc ,then try him again in a couple of months. Just my thoughts on it.

Nice bit of work Mate, I was out with Magwitch last night ,we took 29 on a farm. I see you use a CZ, one of my Farmers has one in 17 he is very pleased with it. I look forward to your next footage.

Thats a dog with some substance about him, good hunting with him!

Where do you rate it? Up with the best? Or in the mix as a good animal?

At least you are waiting ,some don't

here you go worjohn I don't know anything about the dogs abilities ,but he appears to have dropped pasterns, looking at the photo. Inan, bit of a low blow mate... the dog is now a veteran, he has nothing to proove in his racing career, and was last years "Stud dog of the Year", in the "Non Ped" world; his prodgeny are doing extremely well. I'm sure his pasterns were fine when he was running ! Cheers. I dont think telling the truth as you see it is a "low blow". I made it clear I knew nothing about the dogs capabilities, and Ive seen a few dogs with dropped pasterns that were v

I think the pup looks a lot better there, no ribs sticking out, should make a nice animal.

To be honest mate the pup looks underweight to me ,just judging from the pics.I dont know you or anything about what has been said ,not making any judgements on what I know nothing about ,just that the pup looks thin ,even for a saluki based pup.I'm not a big fan of Panacur wormer I prefer Drontal plus ,and yes , you can give it to pups ,just break it up according to the weight of the pup. There is a good thread about wormers posted by Skycat in the health section. Not wishing to offend you ,just being honest, breast of lamb is good for putting weight on a dog ,lots of fat content. Ive seen

All the best with them Shad.

I totally agree! !

I'm sure he will come good for you.Lets have a bit more rain to soften the ground a bit, I'll give you a ring . He's a nice looking pup.I'll buy the kebabs win or lose.Take care fella.

Hello D ,nice pup ,he looks to still have some knuckle to grow out there ,I'm sure he will be fine. Pups are like kids, especially boys ,they mature at different rates ,I had one picking up very early ,one of my best dogs was over a year old before he caught his first rabbit, but he turned out to be a monster at catching bunnies.Plenty of time yet ,wait till the crops are cut and we have some rain.He will be older and stronger, maybe we could have another spin out later ? Take care T.

I know your post wasnt directed at me ,because I am not a top dog man, but having kept lurchers for 40 years ,I have managed to pick up one or two bits of information. You seem to have anger issues ,judging by your last couple of sentences. Amazing how you can keenly weigh us all up ,without having met any of us,I envy you your remarkable psychic powers.Tell me ,do you know what will win the 2,30 at Ascot this Saturday

sound pal i mostly walk the dogs there during the week cause their is always a few foxes around to get a hunt off and a few handy earths I had a girlfriend in Arklow ,many years ago ,what a lovely part of the world all that area is.I envy you.

All the Best with Him Mate!

Well I know you wont take any notice of me ,but I'm afraid I agree entirely with the consensus , your bitch at 18 months is still maturing mentally,I can't see any justification for breeding from her at this age. What's your hurry? Why dont you work her for at least a couple of seasons more and see if she fulfills her potential? I suppose we must all be bozos ,that don't agree with you.or maybe we are bozos for attempting to give you ,what we honestly beleive is sound advice .I dont know you ,how old are you 20 ? 25? Younger? Do you think its at all possible that some of us who have been

You and me both. What a load of Old Bollocks! Post after post all about Jack Shit! Matches and challenges being thrown out in June, for next season .People bigging themselves up talking about coursing on an open forum.Half of them couldnt even find the Fens. If you want to match some one ,why feel the need to put it on here? Why not a PM? Simple, because then everyone else wont know you are throwing out these challenges, and that wouldnt do would it? A bloke has a very decent Lamping bitch ,he runs it in ONE match on the fens in November , wins the match, and he hasnt stopped talki
