  1. What telescope would i need to watch a rocket landing on the moon? To watch a rocket land on the Moon in real time with a telescope from Earth is, unfortunately, beyond the capabilities of any commercially available telescope, even high-end observatories. Here's why and what’s possible: Why You Can’t Watch a Rocket Land on the Moon from Earth Distance: The Moon is about 384,400 km (238,855 miles) from Earth. Resolution required: To see a rocket like Sp
  2. Now there’s a question. I do and I’m worried. If they make this easily attainable, then they’ll mine old Luna. Who can even conceive the consequences of that?
  3. Definition of insanity…. “A Einstein” But let’s all face it, we went to the moon
  4. If you hear a splash and you’re in water, git the fack owt if it’s in Northern Territory.. ”Mick Dundee” A scholar, an idol, a leader lol
  5. You keep the Hare in your Krishna….. what is your good name sir?
  6. Check out Charts peacocking
  7. That honestly, I hate to say…. Took me a second
  8. ‘Kinell I just had a stroke PMSL
  9. That’s what they’re trying to find. The constants of quantum theory/mechanics/etc. but is everyone now onboard that we went to the moon?
  10. Constants are constants they don’t change outside of where they’ve been observed. What science are you questioning?
  11. Don't need to mate, scientific facts suit the truth not an agenda
  12. They put something out the back of the banger mate lol. Thrust If you have a can of Lynx, when you spray it it gives an opposing force that you are strong enough not to feel the effects of entirely but you can still feel a bit of pressure. Same thing in space would send you on a journey at a good few mph in the opposite direction. Now make that can 5000 times larger in capacity and you're going for a fuucking fast ride
  13. It’s a measurement of velocity that can be understood. Mach refers to the sound barrier which technically means you need air or some medium that can carry sound to break it. Mach 1 on earth would be a higher velocity than Mach 1 on Mars Edited; Doh! Not entirely correct lol thinner atmosphere means less energy input to reach Mach velocity.
  14. In the fabrication, planning etc there were a lot more than a few hundred mate.
  15. Nah you’ve got to visit places mate. Like Mack said, Vienna is stunning, great place to visit. It’s nice to experience different cultures, food, beer etc
  16. As I said… a lesser man
  17. Yeah…. But in fairness she had a point… I was hanging out of the back of it… happy memories, no harm in knocking a farewell one out
  18. No idea but it looks like she’s drinking an Aperol spritz Vienna is a great place to visit but I wouldn’t want to live there lol Get her to try a keisegrindre (spelling) it’s a hotdog with cheese in the middle. Fuucking lush
  19. In a small way (yet accounted for in the maths) yes, the gravity of both bodies assisted the journey. Earth has more mass hence a stronger gravity field/influence. So less fuel for propulsion needed for the return journey
  20. I rarely take the normal (for here) 2hours but today just thought fuuck it. 3 courses and a jug of wine please lol
  21. I’ve just bought a couple of the grow tubs yesterday (Hawaiian and Mexican) should be fun
  22. I’m on a Spanish dinner
  23. Yep not many dogs put themselves through pain or take mad risks intentionally and to be clear a good one refers to that intent Never once have I not said I failed the dog. It even says it in that post. A man admits when he’s wrong. A lesser man try’s to use that to seem to be the better Anyway back to the maths and physics of space travel and moon landings. If I put out 5000lbs of thrust, in a vacuum, then I will travel in the opposing direction at that speed (minus a little bit for particles acting in resistance) indefinitely. So once I’m in that vacuum I need very little in the
