In Spain (Cataluña) they’d serve that cheese with sliced tomatoes and olive oil drizzled over on the same plate. Cracking scran with a beer or wine A quick tapas recipe; slice an onion and fry in olive oil until soft, add sliced chorizo (the cured kind, not the raw sausage type) and give it a bit of colour until the fat starts to run out of it. Add a good dash of Rioja red, cook off the alcohol and then add a bit of ground sweet red pepper and black pepper. Serve with bread (baguette) and olive oil instead of butter. Easy made over a camping stove or a bbq

Both fair comments, exhibition match would probs be the way. As for the money, yeah I reckon he got screwed because of how he looked. They didn’t want some chubby lad knocking the chiseled pros out and showing up the game. Given a chance he maybe could of got within reach of a world title but it’s all hypothetical.

Remember seeing the documentary on that. Couldn’t stand up straight, leaning on crutches, the man was fuucked. He was the exception in his prime, overweight, fearless and had a serious will to win. But a comeback? At his age? After everything he put his body through? He should sit back and enjoy the fact he can walk again. I’d hate to see him annihilated in the ring, which is what will probably happen.

Pretty sure that’s what they sell in the local supermarket here (I’ll have a check tomorrow). If it is, it’s not the best but it does go well with Gorgonzola, crackers, boquerones (pickled white anchovies) and normal anchovies. My go to midnight snacks

We and a couple of families used to go to Butlins (Skegness) once a year and we always went to the local stock car racing. Was a right craic having 10p bets between us and watching the cars fall apart

No commercial airplane is pumping out chems that are not natural byproducts of burning jet fuel aka refined petroleum in a low oxygen/atmospheric pressure/cold environment. If you go high enough up a mountain, you can reproduce the effect smoking a fag fgs. What would you call spraying a fertilizer/pesticide out of the back of a plane. Technically it’s a chemtrail, yet we call it dusting
