    Very nice shot buddy. Same as I've always said, a .22 is just as accurate as a .177 in the persons hands who puts in the time to practice and learn his combo inside out. It's pretty obvious to me Elliott as put in the time to achieve that shot so well done pal . I can see the June meet being a very interesting meet with all these fine marksmen turning up . I'm going to have to go and do some serious range work before i really get my butt wupt by all you guys . Si.

    Why don't you put your name down for the meet in bulwell in June Kurt? You will get all the experience then from the section members that attend. It will also give them a chance to see you shoot and come up with some tips to help you improve. Permissions are hard to come by so people will want to see you shoot first buddy as there is nothing worst than loosing one if someone else does something that the land owner takes offence to. Si.

    I have owned the FX Verminator mark 1 in 2009 which was the most accurate air rifle i have shot. Very light and nice to fire especially with Bisley Magnums in .177. Mine broke though after 3 days of vermin shooting (leaked) so i took it back to the shop and swapped it for a HW100KT in .22 which was also a brilliant rifle. I have had my hand s on a mark 2 Verminator though only a few weeks ago and that is another kettle of fish and all the gripes that i had with the mark 1 are now ironed out. I would defo buy a mark 2. Si.

    Thanks pal, Yes John is very good so I have heard from many people. Bill (Sweeney Tod) uses his services a lot on his very nice rifles in his collection. Anyway I have now practised yesterday with the new r10 and calibrated it on Chair gun using 2 brands of pellets and the groups that it is producing are very nice to say the least. What has surprised me is the the barrel seems to like the RWS Super Fields at 4.51mm rather than the bigger 4.52mm AA Fields which for a BSA barrel is strange. I've still got to try Daystate pellets that Ste (Wedge) has kindly offered to send me,

    Hi mate, I'm in Nottingham too and am willing to come and visit you and give you a few tips if you want. That or you can pop around to mine when you are free for a cuppa and a chat. Dont get too hung up on your misses buddy, it may not even be all your fault and it could be that you are using a poor quality pellet at a distance that you and the pellet are not meant to be at.     Hi Steve, Have you tried the Gun Trader buddy? You will get a good deal I'm sure on there. Probably also better pal if you change your location on your profile buddy as people reading it will not find it very funny especially in light of the past and if you want to move on like you told me yesterday then maybe that location is not the best one to have. As I told you yesterday when you phoned me, there is still a lot of upset people, rightly so especially with your David who just seems to rile people up and get you both banned after a long thread.     Here are the results of the chrono session over a 10 shot mag that I'm using for Chair Gun calibration with the new scope. 765.0 feet per second 764.2 763.8 764.3 763.4 765.2 767.0 764.4 766.1 761.7 feet per second Average speed reading = 764.51 feet per second. Total spread = 5 feet per second which is pretty good for a rifle still settling down and if I'm honest I think this rifle would stay within these reading through 2 or even 3 mags if i kept testing it further. or 10.9 foot pounds.

    R-10 .177...............approx 160 shots. Hi mate what pellets do you find work well in the .177 r10? Just got one and wanted a good steer. Si.
