  1. If you remember Steve Graham as a permission on a local cricket ground. I remember him and Rossy always shooting there when Steves forum name was Hunter1989. So not so surprising really Mike. Si.
  2. I have had a conversation months ago with Tony Wall about pistons being damaged and he said if a pellet is not a good fit in your breech and is loose this will cause piston bounce which will ruin your internals. He never mentioned anything about Bisley Magnums but it may be worth asking him. Ive got to phone him later so ill see what he says. Si.
  3. Im over the moon we have all helped make s difference here. These young men and women are doing a thankless job in a country which is far from their homes. The support we send them means so much to them and by knowing they are thought of and we are proud of them makes a big difference. Well done everyone. Si.
  4. Sounds good to me Joey bud cheers. Im up got that. Can we still make the same dates. 18, 19 and 20 Jan?
  5. Ok mate cheers. I'm up for that, a bit of cold weather doesn't bother me and I suppose others too. We can have a fire going to keep warm etc. Si.
  6. I suppose it didn't help my case though when after her second visit to me and Davy causing trouble, I told her to p-ss off back up to her office and mind her own business . Si.
  7. Hi Simon, I'm only allowed to shoot in the indoor range has he as stopped me shooting out side. When me and Davy were there 2 weeks ago shooting at targets and calibrating springers out side against the brick walls as a backstop out the way of everyone we were reported by a female (witch) anti who works in the TA centre called Paula. She cries if you step on a spider by mistake and is slightly mad by all accounts. Says that her 9 cats are all veggies like her WTF . Anyway she phoned up 3 people there and said that she was in fear of her life and thought that me and Davy were g
  8. Ive not personally owned a Theoben but I have reviewed and shot a tuned and fettled Theoben MFR belonging to Craig. Ive owned 3 HW100 rifles in the past and own one still now. The Theoben are a very nice rifle, lighter than I expected and as accurate as any other pcp Ive used before. If I'm honest I wouldn't say this thread is about which one is better because I don't really think that you can split them. Both have a brilliant record from the start, both are more accurate than the shooter be it a world champion shot or not, you will never out shoot them. At the end of the d
  9. Yeah lads. I need to have a talk to Davy and Chaz and see what we can come up with. It may be that we can come up with something somewhere central to everyone. It want be as warm or with the same facilities as Nottingham but it something. Si.
  10. This is really good to read about. Shooting is so much fun and the joy the kids get from knocking over a target or hitting the bulls eye is immense. Nice post Aaron. Thanks mate. Si.
  11. Yes I know Rob, but there is nothing that I can do about it mate. He is new into the job, keen to impress my Commanding Officer and so is doing everything by the book as he see's fit. He is a deer shooter himself and is thinking about Winchester 308 ammo and not sub 12 air rifles I think. One of his comments when I said that we use the Sherwood brick walls (one of the hardest bricks there is) in the garages as back stops like last time was that he didn't want the bricks destroying and so wanted a hay bale behind every target to protect the bricks. If you shot at Sherwood brick at P
  12. David James (Hunters Vermin) also uses Bisley Magnums in his .177 HW97KT to very good effects Si.
  13. He also wanted to inspect all the targets, their locations, their back stops etc. No trust.
  14. Hold out lads as it looks like the meet may be cancelled . My new boss is not as savy as the old one that as just left and wants extra establishment insurance, health and safety risks and quotes doing, police at the meet at irregular intervals as well as a fire arms officer from the military there all weekend keeping a eye on us . He also looks like he wants £900 rent for the weekend even though I said it was for charity . Last time we got it for jut over £100, but normally its £300 per day to hire the TA centre out and he's a by the book type of guy that doesn't bend anything.
  15. If you wanted the best then you would of bought a Weihrauch Daz . Dont worry though a Theoben comes a close second . Si.
  16. Its just a real good idea to have . There are some for £100 that are just designed for air rifles. Si.
  17. Thanks very much Roger for writing that. Its very kind of you my friend. Si.
  18. Hawke Panorama 4-12x40 AO IR £138 at SFS. Si.

  20. Thanks lads for taking the time to watch the episode and make a comment . As two we are nothing but as many we get heard which all helps to fight the good fight for our sport, hobby and in Milo's regards a way of life . Si.
