Chris it looks sexy and feck mate. The black wooden stock looks the dogs tadgers mate. Its good to see that you have now been crossed over to the dark side and now use a laser as a range finder. Watch your kill rate go up even more than you already kill now mate with that bad boy on. Someone should quickly snap your hand off and buy it off you once they see the photos mate.. Who ever buys it will be over the moon with its performance too mate. Ive seen what it is caperble of doing in good hands like yours. I just hope who ever buys it does it the same shooting justice as yo

Hi Chris. Ive just been out and zeroed the Vermi. WOW wait till you see the footage that i shot with it today in the zero range mate. Ill put it up on the forum later today when i get home from work mate and have taken it off my camera. The rifle is just amazing Chris. The group that i have filmed today using it is the best group that i have ever shot with a .177 rifle. Im not blowing my own trumpet mate but i dont think that a better group could have been shot. We are talking 30 metres 1 hole groups. Well 3 or 4 shots in .177 calibre at 30 metres making a .22 pellet

Chris hurry up and get it sorted out mate, as i have plenty of squizzers and bunnies that need the attention of either the Ultra or the new HW100 Si

Cheers RaiderBoy, I hope that the gun shoots tomorrow as good as the write ups say they do. I got a guarantee card come with the gun from FX stating the following: These virtually recoilless rifles can easily place their shots inside a 20mm circle at 50 metres range. On several occasions, I have personally taken over 100 rabbits in a single night. If it does that then im well happy and should hammer plenty of vermin with it this winter. 20mm is 5mm under a inch, and at 50 metres Zini

Yes i can imagine that they are not everyones cup of tea Ferretville as they look a lot like something out of Star Wars etc. Ive owned GunPower Stealths and Storms in the past and love the black synthetic looking guns. I just hope that my new stable mate to my R10 is as good as they were. Zini

I'm not on the BBS and i cant even remember if ive ever tried to become a member on there over the years. But in a act of support id also like to give them the bird Zini.

Hi all, Here are a few photos of my new toy that i got for my 37th birthday. I picked it up at 1700 hrs today from the gun shop. Arrived from Deben this morning so i was informed. Its a .177 calibre FX Verminator. I chronoed it at home with 10.6 grain Bisley Magnums and its sitting between 11.8 and 11.9, more the 11.9 though. I think when its had some more pellets through it and its settled down it will be sweetly ticking over at 11.9. I fitted my SAK silencer and boy is this rifle quiet and pointable. Im going to zero it tomorrow when its light and hopefully introduce

Archie LOL. If she knew me she would be holding a metre stick Thanks for all the nice birthday wishes guys. Thanks too Wuzzy for the very kind words Si

Ferrit, I would personally go for the .177 calibre mate. I just find the calibre better and more forgiving. Zini

Luke, Ive been with Reggaeman loads of times in the past 2 to 3 months shooting with his Ultra. The gun is the most accurate .177 ive ever seen and thats no bull sh-t, forget all the £1000 rifles this gun rocks, and regulars on here know that i only comment on a gun that ive personally had dealings with so my advice is true. I personally last Friday put 2 shots using AA field straight after each other in a bull the size of a old half pence piece so about 5mm at 30 lased out metres or 33 yards. The gun would of carried on doing that for 30ish shots no problems mate. For

Thank you gentlemen 37 today and looking 47 . Got to pick up my new birthday present today from Gilsan Sports in Richmond North Yorkshire. Ive treated myself to a brand new FX Verminator in .177 calibre with a Nikko Stirlin 4-16x44 AO mil dot scope This baby will become the new stable mate to my other baby, my BSA R10 The R10 is going to become my daytime combo and the Verminator is to become my lamping combo. Johnny, Got to say mate that if you can stretch your budget to what ever Festa is asking for his ProSport i would snap his hands off mate. It shoots like a tuned dream and is silky smooth and is whisper quiet for a springer. Ive even seen him shoot more rabbits with it in one night at distance than 2 prechargeds did. Its worth PMing him mate. Zini

Ferrit, The HW77 would be my choice. They are deadly bunny bashers in the right hands, with accuracy that you wont be able to shoot to mate. There is a massive comparison between the two rifles. A HW77 should never be even thought about in the same class as a Lightning really. The Lightning though a good gun in its own right is no match for the HW77in any department apart for being lighter and easier to carry. The HW77 is a total legend and in the late 1980’s to early 1990’s the HW77 ruled the airgun world along with the HW80 when it came to accuracy and field per

Cant say that i have ever seen a birds head hanging off Heppi, but maybe your pals Webley was in .25 calibre you never said. Maybe thats what a .25 would do. Never the less a great shot mate. Zini

were do i shoot pigeons with an air gun
zini replied to pest hunter 151's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I’ve shot a few pigeons in my time and Ive learnt many lessons, sometimes at the cost of a wounded bird. The head or neck is the best place to shoot a pigeon if you want a clean kill. There are of course other areas that you can shoot to produce a clean humane kill, these being as follows: If the pigeon is facing away from you then placing a shot at the bottom of its neck where the wings meet, around the shoulder area is a guaranteed kill area. If the bird is directly over you, then a shot to the heart will kill also straight away. The problem here though is that if your shot -
Welcome back Top Good luck nailing them crows mate. Dont forget your camera mate. Zini

It looks the dogs bo--ocks mate. I hope that you get on well with it. Zini

Oh well Wuzzy, If it isn’t to be, then Tim has missed out I think on drastically reducing his vermin population in a quick, humane and professional manner. Zini
-
I cant say that ive ever shot one myself mate so cant really comment what they are like. I can only speculate that as they are a BSA and that they probably have the same barrel as the R10 has under its shroud and Ultra has, they are deadly accurate and good guns. Best of luck with it anyway Zini.

Nice going friend, Its always good to shoot a few squizzers here and there. Keep up the good work and keep the posts coming. Zini

Hi Tim, If you want trusted, responsible, friendly, respectful, highly skilled and accurate shots then id have to recommend Reggaeman, and his pal Wuzzy. I do a bit of shooting myself and I’ve shot with them loads of times on my permission and they have become good close friends of mine and regular shooting partners. Believe me friend, I don’t suffer fools gladly and if someone shoots with me and they are not up to it they wont come back. These two come up all the time and shoot with me and they do the business every time. I’ve witnessed these guys shoot vermin out to 45

Hi friend, Stealthy1 is dead right there mate. Both guns are good guns and fine for shooting vermin with, but if your budget can stretch a bit further my advice would be. Buy yourself a Weihrauch HW95. You will never go wrong with a HW and they rock. If your shooting is up to it they will quite easily take vermin at 35 to 40 metres. Zini

Nice write up Tony Its good to see that the springer is still doing her job and nailing bunnies. Sorry for my ignorance mate but what gun is a 19? Nice shooting as well mate. Si
